I've been working on a better way to display my minifigures than just the regular plate they give you in the packets. I built little cubbie holes in a building to fit minifigures, it works great! Also, a reason that it looks really cool is that you can customize the building to match the minifigures! I made a display case for my Ninjago minifigures and my Castle minifigures.

These little wooden figurines are called "Kurrendesänger". It is a tradition originally from some regions in Eastern Germany. The little wooden church is the same church as on the photo behind, from the small town of Seiffen in Saxony/Eastern Germany. The photo on the other side shows the inside of the church.
Several years ago we visited the town of Seiffen and bought the wooden group.
Das sind Kurrendesänger aus Seiffen/Erzgebirge. Das Foto zeigt genau die Seiffener Kirche, die davor als kleine Holzfigur steht. Vor einigen Jahren waren wir mal in Seiffen und haben dort auch u. a. diese Kurrende gekauft.

Saw this cute little display car at a basement foodcourt at one of the shopping mall in Orchard Road, Singapore. :)
Using my tree made another year, I typed out lots of christmas greetings in different languages and placed around it. I also used a display taken from the "instant displays" site and placed around the board. This is a display passed by the whole school going up to assembly.
