At the end of Tang Dynasty, there is a Yellow-Nest-Peasants uprising, the government of Tang was incapable of suppression, then dispatched Tuoba tribe to suppress them. The emperor then granted the imperial family the surname Li to award their overwhelming victory. It was extremely glorious at that time. In October 1038, Tuoba leader Li Yuanhao inherited career from his grandfather to establish the kingdom, which is now Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia. But in October 1227, this great dynasty was destroyed by Genghis Khan.
