Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released). But the manager brought out the Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel dolls from the back so I can see them and take photos. They have not yet received the last two dolls to be released, Tiana and Belle. The placard lists the release dates and photos of the dolls, along with their edition sizes. They will be released one per week on Saturday, starting on October 6, rather than the usual Tuesday. They will start to hand out vouchers starting an hour before store opening and lasting about 30 minutes. They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.

The schedule of releases (for the US and Canada):

Snow White, 10/6/2018, LE 4100

Cinderella, 10/13/2018, LE 4400

Jasmine, 10/20/2018, LE 4000

Ariel, 10/27/2018, LE 4500

Tiana, 11/3/2018, LE 4000

Belle, 11/10/2018, LE 4500

The official announcement was made by the ShopDisney Facebook page this morning with a video of the dolls:

LE Elena boxed.

I got the Elena of Avalor LE 17 inch Doll from my local Disney Store on the release day, Tuesday November 21, 2017. I went to my store at 11:30 am, instead of my usual line up before the store opens for LE doll releases. There were three of the doll behind the counter, but placed sideways and with no promo placard. So it wasn't obvious that there was a Limited Edition doll release today. The CM I bought the doll from didn't seem to know anything about the release, so I don't know how many dolls the store got in, how many they sold, or how many were remaining. I took the first doll that was handed to me, since the doll looked perfect to me. She is #1375 of 6000.

The set in its unopened box.

I like this set very much. The Anna doll has the same face that was introduced with the OFA Elsa and Anna doll set, but her hairdo is new. Some of it is gathered into a ponytail (including her white streak), but most of it is straight down her back. She long stiff straight bangs in the front. She is wearing a nightgown, and a simplified coronation gown is included, with two hair ribbons, two hair clips and a crown. There is also a brush, a dressing screen and a chest. The chest opens up and is useful to store the little accessories after the set is deboxed. The best thing about this set is that there is a bed that is 11 1/2 inches long, the same length as the doll, so she can lay down in it without having to bend her knees, or having her feet over the end. The backing can also serve as a backdrop for the set after it is deboxed, especially if the backing is opened up. The set is available online on the ShopDisney site, but I haven't seen it in stores yet.

The Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set with the contents removed from the box, but still attached to the backing.

Here are detailed photos of the newly released Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95), that I just got from my local Disney Store. The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.

Detailed photos of the new Classic Ariel doll. I love her face. But most of her hair is very stiff with hair product, so I found it hard to make it neater and fix the stray hairs. Her satin fins are okay, but there is a stained patch (glue?). I like the 2012 Classic Ariel fins better, but these new ones are definitely better than the tulle fins that most recent Classic Ariel dolls have had. I was going to compare her side by side with last year's Classic Ariel, but I can't find her at the moment.

Ariel and Eric are deboxed, and are side by side.

I got the Ariel and Eric 'Kiss the Girl' playset yesterday (Tuesday October 23) from my local Disney Store. It came out in the UK about three weeks ago, and I have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive in the US since then. It is in some stores in the US, but not online in the US ShopDisney site yet. It costs $59.95 (twice as much as the previous Classic Disney Doll playsets that came out this year), and is in a huge box. It has Ariel and Eric in a rowboat, with fishes and Flounder spouting water around them. There is also a Sebastian figure, and two more outfits for Ariel (mermaid and pink). I show the set boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed in various configurations. I put the set in front of the background formed by the inner box, and finally rebox the set.

Ariel is sporting her blue kingdom tour dress, and finally has her hair parted in the correct side of her head (on her left). She also has some heavily gelled bangs on her right side reminiscent of Snow Queen Elsa's crown of bangs.

Eric is in white shirt and blue pants, with black boots. He is remarkable in that he is the first Classic Prince doll to be fully articulated. He has the same body as Li Shang and Flynn Rider of the 2017 Disney Designer Collection limited edition doll sets. So he has a swivel jointed neck, and ball jointed elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. He can also sit without splaying his legs. As with most Prince dolls, he has a smaller head than his Princess, Ariel, which looks strange when they are side by side.

The boat can be separated from the base, consisting of the plastic water and fish. The oars can be separated from the boat. Sebastian can free stand, or can be inserted into peg at the bow of the boat.

This is a great set, and I think is worth the cost. The only problem is to find a place to put it, especially if it is out of the box.

In-Store release of Disney Designer Collection Premiere Series merchandise, on Friday September 28, 2018. My local Disney Store had all six of the Designer Princesses on display. Snow White was deboxed, and in a clear plastic display case. The others were in their boxes, and Guests were free to handle the boxes and inspect the dolls up close. They also had several of the ColourPop Designer makeup items for sale. Next to the Designer dolls were items related to them, including jewelry and accessories. The Designer items that were released last week were available for sale here. That included the two LE pin sets, the LE ornament set, the notecard set and wine glass set. I took detailed photos of the Belle and Tiana, the two dolls that I hadn't seen in person yet.

Singing Ariel fully deboxed, lying down.

I got the new Disney Store 11 1/2 inch singing Ariel doll on Monday July 9, 2018. I also got the Cinderella singing doll at the same time, whom I will show separately. They are showing up in various Disney Stores both here in the US and also in the UK, but are not yet available online.

She is in much simpler packaging than previous singing dolls, and has no accessories. She is also less expensive than previous singing dolls, only $19.99, just $5 more than a regular Classic doll. Ariel has a lovely new face paint that is different than the current Classic Ariel doll.

Ariel sings 'Part of Your World'. Ariel is in mermaid form, with a purple bra that has a large blue gem in the middle, and an iridescent dark blue-green tail with light blue-green fins.

I have deboxed Singing Ariel and will post detailed photos of her soon.

She has a pink cloth flower in her hair, with a yellow jewel in the center. It is tacked to her head with a T-tab. There is glitter on her bra, and in the tulle fins and fringe around her waist, but sheds very little, if at all. Her satin tail is iridescent, and has outlines of scales printed in black. She has the new style rubber legs, with internal click stop knee joints, and fixed flat feet.

But I have bad news about her singing. She only sings one verse of 'Part of Your World', which lasts about 12 seconds, and that's it. I thought that was just the Try Me mode, but there is no pull tab, or alternate switch position to make the song segment longer. And when you twist her hand again, the same verse repeats itself. Boo! The previous Ariel singing dolls (both 12 inch and 16 inch) all sang three verses of the song, lasting about 30 seconds. Some of the other 12 inch singing dolls from past years would sing 2 verses, or about 20 seconds of their song, but this new Ariel only singing one verse is very disappointing, despite her low price compared to past singing dolls.

Belle : The doll is from the 2011 Classic Film Doll Collection. I changed her outfit with the 2010 Classic Belle Doll and add in more ruffles. I also curled her hair as she originally came with long straight hair.

Beast : The doll's head is the new mold and the body is the 2010 Classic Beast Doll body with full articulation. He is wearing the 2010 classic doll's shirt, vest, pants, boots, and the new doll's tux that I removed the beast's hands and tail.

Detailed photos of the Rapunzel Limited Edition Maquette by Enesco. She is part of the Walt Disney Archives Collection. She costs $175, half the original cost of the Elsa maquette. I ordered her from the Disney Store on October 3, and received her today (October 12). She was originally announced as LE 5000, to be released in February 2017, but was delayed many months and reduced in edition size. My Rapunzel is 207 of 1200. The number is on the Certificate of Authenticity, as well as under the base of the maquette. She is very pretty, and well painted, although there are a few minor paint flaws. There are some stray paint marks on her face, but they are not glaring errors. Her surface is rougher than that of the Elsa and Anna maquettes in the same series. She isn't as spectacular as the Elsa maquette, but I like her better than the Anna, and am very glad I got her.

I show Rapunzel alone from all angles. I also show her next to the Elsa and Anna maquettes. Rapunzel is 8 3/4 inches high, and with the base is 9 1/2 inches high. This compares to the 9 1/2 inch Anna (10 1/4 with the base), and the 9 1/4 inch Elsa (9 3/4 with the base).

I took some photos of the the Minnie Mouse Signature Limited Edition Doll and associated merchandise displayed at my local Disney Store today. She will be released on National Polka Dot Day, Monday January 22, 2018. She is the sixth Minnie Mouse Signature LE Doll produced by the Disney Store so far. She comes in a display case that is of the same design as that of the Disney Designer Doll collection from 2011 to 2016.

So I decided to redo her hair and came up with my own way to do the bun. I'm pretty impressed with the result and surprised how (in my opinion) it turned out very accurate to the movie.

I just received the Anna Couture de Force Figure from the Disney Store. She is $69.95, $5 less expensive than the Elsa figure. She was actually shipped by Enesco, the manufacturer. She is an 8 inch high resin figure of Anna in her black and green Coronation outfit. She is holding a pink fan in one hand and holding up her skirt in the other. It recalls the scene of her singing the ''sophisticated grace'' part of ''For the First Time in Forever.'' She is a very pretty figure, with lots of details that are true of the movie character. There is gold glitter on the fan, which does shed. There are two minor but noticeable defects in the figure. One is that the gold glitter is applied unevenly on the front of the fan. The other is that there is a small gash in her left shoulder (to our right), that also cuts into the strap of her gown. Other than that, the details and painting are very nicely down. She is very sturdy free standing, and is considerably heavier than the companion Elsa figure.

I photograph Anna from all angles, and also show her with the Elsa Couture de Force Figure. I like the rendering of Elsa's face better than Anna, and Elsa's transparent cape is amazing, and is unlike that of any other Elsa figure. But the Anna figure is matches with Elsa very well. Both of them are still available from the US Disney Store website.

The Limited Edition Brave Princess Merida Figure, a 14'' resin statue, is placed next to the Limited Edition Maleficent Figure, a 12'' resin statue. The actual figure of Merida is 11 1/2'' H and Maleficent is 10'' H. They are both very movie accurate, have striking poses, are are very beautiful. The paint job on the Maleficent statue seems to be better quality. The Merida paint has several places in the skirt where the paint is peeling off, fortunately not visible from the front. But the Merida was LE 2500, and was only $79.50 at it's release in 2012. The Merida figure comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, but is unnumbered.

The figure is deboxed, and is standing on its wide and heavy circular pedestal, to which it is permanently attached. The underside of the pedestal has the LE number, which of course matches that printed on the CoA, and is a nice feature. The box has nice artwork. Three of the sides show the figure from different angles, in a dark forest scene. The back of the box has a summary of the plot of the movie.

I just received my Maleficent Limited Edition Figure by the Disney Store. She is #37 of 300. She is very beautiful, and is very nicely painted.

Today I got some of the plush from the upcoming Frozen short: the medium Anna and Elsa plush, and the small Kitten plush. The Kitten plush has knitted sweater and booties, and is very soft and fluffy. They are available both online and in stores.

Side by side comparison of the original 2011 Belle Animator Doll versus the newly released 2013 Belle Animator Doll. They are both 16'' H dolls depicting Belle as a toddler. The head and body of the dolls are identical, and their faces and hair are very similar. The only major change is in their outfits. Following is a detailed comparative review of the two dolls. Not shown here is the mini plush Chip doll that was included with the 2011 Belle doll, but is not included with the 2013 doll.

Face and head: Their head sculpts are identical. Their faces are almost identical, with some very minor changes, some of which might be factory variances. One is that the pink eyeshadow over the 2013 Belle's eyes are more prominent. The yellow portion of her irises is larger, and the hazel portion smaller, on the 2013 doll, making her eyes a little brighter. That quality of the painting is a little coarser in the new doll, especially in her eyes, so the edges are a little jagged. Finally the color of the new doll's lips is a lighter shade of pink. None of these changes affect the overall appearance of the doll very much, and you have to look closely at the dolls side by side to see any differences. But I like the darker shade of pink on the 2011 doll better, as well as the sharpness of the details in the face painting.

Hair: The hair on the two dolls are very similar, but the older doll has neater hair out of the box. They have the same dark brown hair color. The hair is straight on top and parted down the middle. There is a solitary curl hanging down \the middle of her forehead. On the older doll it curls counterclockwise, in the newer doll it is clockwise. On both dolls, their hair is drawn tightly across their head, and is gathered in the back to make a curly pony tail. The new doll has hair that is a couple of inches longer, is less curly, and is frizzy and tangled. There doesn't appear to be any hair product in Belle's hair. The hair is shiny, soft and smooth over her head, but on both dolls, the lower curly portion of the hair is rougher and frizzy. The large blue ribbon and bow in the older doll's hair also helps considerably in the appearance of her hairdo. The new doll just has two sets of rubber bands holding the ponytail together.

Outfits: The two dolls have very different outfits, as they represent two different outfits from the movie. The older doll has a blue satin dress with white satin blouse (sewn to the dress), with white lace trim. There is a white satin sash around the waist tied into a bow in the front. She has white ankle socks with lace trim and black shoes. She blue painted on panties. She has a large blue satin ribbon and bow in the back of her ponytail. It is a fairly accurate depiction of Belle's blue dress in the movie, except for the lack of a white apron.

The newer doll has a representation of Belle's golden yellow ball gown, much simplified and modified to be appropriate for a toddler. It also has the addition of glitter in the skirt, whereas the 2011 doll's outfit was glitter free. The dress is mainly of golden yellow satin, with white lace trim. She has puffy short sleeves, a large yellow satin rose in the middle of her waist, gold rose decoration in the skirt. Fortunately the glitter is glued on very well, and doesn't shed at all. The roses in the dress were not present in the movie outfit at all, but is usually added to Belle's ballroom gown for Disney Store dolls. She has the same white ankle socks as the older doll, but has golden yellow shoes to match her skirt. She also has golden yellow painted on panties. She has no accessories in her hair.

I like the blue dress much better than the yellow one. I think it looks much better on the doll, and is also much more movie accurate.

Summary: I much prefer the 2011 Belle over the new one. Her face, hair and outfit are all better than on the new one. But I'm glad I got the new doll, for her new outfit. It would have been nice to be able to get new outfits for the Animator dolls without having to buy an entirely new doll.

As of September 14, 2013 many Disney Stores are still selling the old Belle. But they will not be available for too much longer, as the new 2013 version replaces the old stock on the store shelves.

I got Ariel today. I ordered her online on release day, October 27, 2018. She is #2047 of 4500. She and the box arrived in perfect shape. However, the invitation card has slipped down in the plastic sleeve, and won't stay up. I love her face and hair, but her dress is a bit too gaudy for my taste, although it is appropriate for an 80's girl. Her hair is stiff at the ends to keep its curl, so it got a little messy when I broke it up to even out her hair in the back. I cut off the rubber band securing the purse string to her shoulder. I had to use a little tape to keep it from sliding off her shoulder afterwards. I show her boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. I have her now on my desk, right next to me as I type this. It is convenient that I got her just before the next one, Tiana, is released tomorrow.

Side by side comparison of four Limited Edition boxed pin sets by the Disney Store, released over the past three years.

Art of Belle LE Pin Set (2016, 3 pins, 2 1/4'' H, LE 1300, $69.95)

Art of Snow White LE Pin Set (2017, D23, 3 pins, 2'' H, LE 1150, $49.95)

Mulan 20th Anniversary LE Pin Set (2018, 2 pins, 1 3/4'' H, LE 1850, $39.95)

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms LE Pin Set (2018, 3 pins, 2''H, LE 2600, $39.95)

I just received LE 2600 pin set for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms from the Disney Store. It has three small pins of Clara's key, Clara as soldier, and the Nutcracker doll. Clara is 2'' H, the key is 1.5'' H and the Nutcracker is 1'' H. They each have a single pin post. It is a nice presentation box, but the pins are mighty small for an LE pin set. That is reflected in the relatively low price for the set.

Deboxing the Evil Queen. She is freed from the backing and is standing supported by the included display stand. She is still attached to the display stand and various plastic supports. Here she has just been freed from the large plastic support attached to her head. The remnants of the plastic tabs in her head, and a purple wire around her neck have been removed. She is turned around to begin removing the factory restraints from the front. Her skirt is raised, showing the wires attached to the doll stand, and the paper stuffing around her legs. We also see her black high heels. Her skirt is very tight around her upper legs and hips, so I decided not to remove the display stand from the doll. That is similar in design to the skirt of the Designer Villain Evil Queen doll (2012). Then she turned around again and her cape raised over her head, so we can begin removing the plastic support for the heart box. After the support around her waist is undone in the back, we turn her around again to the front, and remove the rubber bands and the plastic support under the heart box and around her arms. She is now fully deboxed. I decided to leave various plastic tabs tacking parts of her dress together, so she would be presented as she was in the box pose.

Detailed photos of the Evil Queen LE 17'' Doll. I got her in person at my local Disney Store on the release day, Tuesday August 1, 2017. She is #1532 of 4000.

Side by side comparison of the the Live Action Turquoise Jasmine (2019, LE 4500) versus the Animated Teal Jasmine (2015, LE 5000) Limited Edition 17 inch dolls. Both by the Disney Store. They are fully deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands.

Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Elsa Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Anna. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #3818 of 7000.

I like her very much, both her new face and outfit. But she does have a couple of defects. One is that her hair is a bit messy on top, where part of her crown of bangs going the wrong way. The other is that there is a shallow cut on her forehead, that is especially visible when looking straight on in bright lighting. I think of it as a scar from the fight in the ice castle. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has dark blue ice heels.

I show her in box, and with all the covers removed. I will debox her later. I show her next to my deboxed Frozen Fever Elsa doll and Harrods Snow Queen Elsa doll. Unlike those two dolls, OFA Elsa's cape doesn't have any embroidery. The snowflake and icicle patterns are depicted using glued on silver glitter appliques and clear crystals. Her dress does have considerable use of embroidery.

The Harrods Special Edition of the Disney Store's Limited Edition Anna and Elsa Doll Set.

Released by the Harrods department store in London, England on November 1, 2013, in an edition of 100. The retail cost of £500 (about $800 US) is more than four times that of the pair of separately sold LE 2500 Anna and Elsa dolls.

My set is #39 of 100, and I received it on November 11, 2013.

I just bought the newly released 12 inch singing dolls from my local Disney Store. They are not yet available online. They had Aurora (as Briar Rose), Belle (in her Winter outfit) and Anna (in her Coronation outfit). They are $19.95 each, and have the same packaging as the Ariel, Cinderella, Elsa, Jasmine and Moana singing dolls released in 2018. They sing for about 15 seconds when you twist their left hand (to your right as you face them). Aurora sings 'Once Upon a Dream' acapella, Belle sings 'Something There' acapella and Anna sings 'Love Is an Open Door' with musical accompaniment.

I show my Belle doll with the outer skirt rotated to various positions, to see how it looks. I removed her purse for this experiment, so it wouldn't get in the way of rearranging her skirt. She is on her display stand, which is secured to the red carpet stage by a wire.

I got the Singing Jasmine 11 inch doll from my local Disney Store today. She completes my collection of the 2018 singing Princess dolls by the Disney Store. Here are photos of her in an unopened box. She is available online and in stores in the US and UK.

First Edition Disney Store Merida with the famous "green nose" problem. I bought her nude and second hand.

Her nose, the ears, hands, feet, knees and chin were green (production fail), and her hair was a bit frizzy. Result after 2 weeks work :)

Deboxing the Mulan Playset. First the inner box is removed from the outer box by sliding it out. Then the doll and accessories are removed from the inner box. They are placed next to it. There are still some packaging restraints on the doll and accessories.

I also got the Princess Mulan Tea Ceremony Playset ($29.95) today from my Disney Store. This is available online in the UK, but not in the US yet. My store didn't have the Belle or Anna playsets

yet. It comes with an 11 inch Mulan doll and many accessories.

The Art of Ariel Charm Bracelet Watch

Art of Ariel Collection

Disney Store

Debuted at the 2013 D23 Expo, August 10, 2013

Released online August 19, 2013

First Look

This is a very beautiful and well made heavy duty charm bracelet with a watch. The watch has a portrait of Ariel made by Enrique Pita. It is adjustable in length from about 7'' to 8 1/2'' long. In contrast with the Ariel Charm Bracelet released earlier this year (currently sold out), it has no charms of sidekick characters from The Little Mermaid. It is clearly meant to be for adults, to wear or to collect.

Note: Despite the name of the item and what the description states below, there was no D23 sticker on the lid of my watch case.

I got the Anna and Elsa Doll Set for Olaf's Frozen Adventure, from my local Disney Store on Wednesday September 27, 2017. They are in the new Holiday outfits, made of faux suede. Elsa has a cape attached to the back of her dress, and has a fur collar with embedded red jewels. Anna has a jacket that is sewn to her bodice. They both have the new style rubber legs with flat feet. Elsa has flat heeled ice shoes, which are a loose fit. Anna has boots with low heels. Anna is about 1/4 inch taller than Elsa (11 1/2 vs 11 1/4 inches), which looks awkward when they are side by side. They both have new face sculpts, for the first time since their original Classic dolls were introduced in 2013. I like how they look, but I like Elsa more than Anna. The old faces looked younger and cuter, but the new faces are more movie accurate.

Reboxing the Snow White set. The deboxed items are placed back in the inner box, then that is placed inside the outer box.

I just received the Snow White Dance Party Playset from the Disney Store. I had ordered two of them when they were released last Monday (Sept 24), and they came in the original shipper box packed together. That reminds me of how the two Disney Princess Designer Collection Snow White dolls came two to a box when I ordered them together. The two playsets were placed facing each other, with a tissue paper between them and on top, with no wriggle room. The shipper box was intact except for a small dent in one corner, which translated into a dent in one of the playsets. The other playset box was in almost perfect condition, so I chose the dented one to debox.

It is available online in the US ShopDisney site for $29.95, but I haven't seen it in the local Disney Stores yet.

This is a wonderful set depicting one of the best scenes in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Snow White dances with Dopey (who is standing on Sneezy), while Grumpy plays the organ. There is also a chair, a bluebird and a small deer in the set. Snow White is a 11.5 inch tall Classic Princess doll with an accurate depiction of her Princess gown. There is glitter on her dark blue bodice, but none on her pale yellow skirt. She has flat feet and yellow flats. Her hair is heavily gelled to keep its style, so it is quite stiff throughout.

The rest of the contents of the set are figures. Grumpy is made to sit in the organ seat, with his hands on the keyboard. The organ pipes move up and down when Grumpy's accordion-like seat is pressed. The deer free stands very stably. Dopey is in a long coat, with Sneezy underneath him. Sneezy is mostly hidden under the coat, but his lower legs and feet stick out the bottom. Dopey/Sneezy can free stand very stably, even with the odd dancing stance of Sneezy's feet.

The cardboard backing has artwork depicting the inside of the Dwarfs' cottage. So after deboxing the contents, the backing can be opened up to provide a backdrop for the dancing scene.

The set can be placed back in the original box after deboxing, which I show in my last two photos.

Classic Disney Princess Ariel Doll - 12''

US Disney Store

$14.95

Released online June 10, 2013.

I really like this new Ariel doll. I think she is considerable improvement over the 2012 model. Her head mold seems to be rounder than the 2012 doll, and face paint is different with rounder bluer eyes, and has a more youthful look. Her face is very pretty, and more movie accurate than the 2012 doll. Her hairdo is close to the 2012 doll, with the part in the wrong side, but the curls are gentler and the hair is in a single mass. There are green glitter pattern representing scales, and the fins are more transparent than the 2012 doll, and look like tulle rather than organza. The peplum is longer and drapes over the tail rather than sticking up, and is made of tulle rather than organza. The tail looks better than the 2012 doll, but I liked the 2012 fins better. Another major change, common to all the 2013 Classic Princess dolls, is the replacement of the fully articulated legs with the old rubber legs, with fixed angled feet and internal knee joints. I would rather that they fixed the problems with the 2012 legs, but the rubber legs do look a lot better, with the disadvantage of being much less posable.

The 2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection, released on June 10, 2013. They consist of 11-12'' articulated dolls of the 11 official Disney Princesses, from Snow White to Merida, as well as Princes, Villains and Sidekicks. Images from the US Disney Store website. When I get the dolls in person, I will also photograph them boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. I will also post reviews and comparative photos.
