Reboxing the Snow White set. The deboxed items are placed back in the inner box, then that is placed inside the outer box.
I just received the Snow White Dance Party Playset from the Disney Store. I had ordered two of them when they were released last Monday (Sept 24), and they came in the original shipper box packed together. That reminds me of how the two Disney Princess Designer Collection Snow White dolls came two to a box when I ordered them together. The two playsets were placed facing each other, with a tissue paper between them and on top, with no wriggle room. The shipper box was intact except for a small dent in one corner, which translated into a dent in one of the playsets. The other playset box was in almost perfect condition, so I chose the dented one to debox.
It is available online in the US ShopDisney site for $29.95, but I haven't seen it in the local Disney Stores yet.
This is a wonderful set depicting one of the best scenes in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Snow White dances with Dopey (who is standing on Sneezy), while Grumpy plays the organ. There is also a chair, a bluebird and a small deer in the set. Snow White is a 11.5 inch tall Classic Princess doll with an accurate depiction of her Princess gown. There is glitter on her dark blue bodice, but none on her pale yellow skirt. She has flat feet and yellow flats. Her hair is heavily gelled to keep its style, so it is quite stiff throughout.
The rest of the contents of the set are figures. Grumpy is made to sit in the organ seat, with his hands on the keyboard. The organ pipes move up and down when Grumpy's accordion-like seat is pressed. The deer free stands very stably. Dopey is in a long coat, with Sneezy underneath him. Sneezy is mostly hidden under the coat, but his lower legs and feet stick out the bottom. Dopey/Sneezy can free stand very stably, even with the odd dancing stance of Sneezy's feet.
The cardboard backing has artwork depicting the inside of the Dwarfs' cottage. So after deboxing the contents, the backing can be opened up to provide a backdrop for the dancing scene.
The set can be placed back in the original box after deboxing, which I show in my last two photos.

In-Store release of Disney Designer Collection Premiere Series merchandise, on Friday September 28, 2018. My local Disney Store had all six of the Designer Princesses on display. Snow White was deboxed, and in a clear plastic display case. The others were in their boxes, and Guests were free to handle the boxes and inspect the dolls up close. They also had several of the ColourPop Designer makeup items for sale. Next to the Designer dolls were items related to them, including jewelry and accessories. The Designer items that were released last week were available for sale here. That included the two LE pin sets, the LE ornament set, the notecard set and wine glass set. I took detailed photos of the Belle and Tiana, the two dolls that I hadn't seen in person yet.

I really like this new Ariel doll. I think she is considerable improvement over the 2012 model. Her head mold seems to be rounder than the 2012 doll, and face paint is different with rounder bluer eyes, and has a more youthful look. Her face is very pretty, and more movie accurate than the 2012 doll. Her hairdo is close to the 2012 doll, with the part in the wrong side, but the curls are gentler and the hair is in a single mass. There are green glitter pattern representing scales, and the fins are more transparent than the 2012 doll, and look like tulle rather than organza. The peplum is longer and drapes over the tail rather than sticking up, and is made of tulle rather than organza. The tail looks better than the 2012 doll, but I liked the 2012 fins better. Another major change, common to all the 2013 Classic Princess dolls, is the replacement of the fully articulated legs with the old rubber legs, with fixed angled feet and internal knee joints. I would rather that they fixed the problems with the 2012 legs, but the rubber legs do look a lot better, with the disadvantage of being much less posable.

In these photos, the Disney Store doll is on the left, and Tollytots doll on the right, except for the boxed photo, where they are reversed. The succeeding photos have them free standing side by side, wearing their top hats and carrying their traveling bags.
My review will breakdown the differences in the dolls in various physical categories.
Packaging:
The Disney Store doll comes in a plastic and cardboard box, where three sides and the top are clear plastic to view the doll. Once the front plastic lid is removed, the doll is in the clear, attached to the cardboard backing. There are numerous wires, plastic straps and ties to remove to get the doll and accessories out of the packaging, but less than is usual for a female doll with a dress. I decided to leave a couple of T-tabs that pinned his jacket closed.
The Tollytots doll comes in a plastic and cardboard box that has a clear viewing window to see the doll. It is in a box in a box that takes a bit of time to finally get the doll in the clear. Then there are numerous packaging restraints that have to removed to remove the doll from the backing and spacers.
Face:
The Disney Store doll's face is much more movie accurate, bearing a strong resemblance to the movie character. He also has side glancing eyes, darker facial hair, eyebrows that are closer to his eyes, and darker lip color. He has a more serious and determined expression than the Tollytots doll, who has a blank stare and bland expression. His skin color is also more accurate, being a paler color than the Tollytots doll medium tan color.
Hair:
The Disney Store doll has dark brown molded hair, that is in a short curly hairdo. It is close in look to the movie character. The Tollytots doll has rooted hair that is a mixture of dark brown and black strands. It is short and straight, and is fairly neat although it has little hair product, and is soft and resilient. There are a few stray hairs that I was able to tame with my fingers. It isn't very movie accurate, as it is straight rather than curly. However, I appreciate the effort to make his hair rooted, rather than molded, which makes the doll more realistic.
Outfits:
The Disney Store doll comes with a black coat with satin lining, full black satin vest with four buttons (nonfunctional, as it has a velcro closure), white dress shirt with one nonfunctional button (has velcro closure in the back), black satin bow tie (sewn to the shirt), black and gray pinstriped pants. It looks to be fairly movie accurate, but fits awkardly on the Disney Prince body, looking bulky.
The Tollytots doll has a black faux wool coat. Under that is a black satin half vest (a front panel sewn into the shirt) with fake embroidered buttons, then a white satin shirt with a sewn on black satin tie. Finally he has dark gray pinstriped dress pants. The outfit fits much better on the Tollytots doll than on the DS doll, due in large part to the slimmer body of the Tollytots doll.
Shoes:
The Disney Store doll has black patent leather boots, of the usual Disney Prince design. It isn't very movie accurate, as well as looking more like rainboots than dress shoes, and being way too large (to fit the DS doll's huge feet). The Tollytots doll has dark gray ankle high boots that are nicely detailed, and look more movie accurate. They are much smaller and slimmer than the DS shoes, and more fashionable looking.
Body:
The Disney Store doll has the usual Disney Store Prince body, with huge hands and feet, and bulked up torso. The Tollytots doll has a much slimmer body, with smaller hands and feet. His fingers are curled, making his hands much better at holding items, such as the handle of his traveling bag. The Tollytots doll has a more elegant look, which helps his outfit look better on him too.
Articulation:
The Disney Store doll has the usual Disney Prince articulation. His neck rotates about a single plane, and cannot tilt up or down. His arms are ball joints, but his elbows are hinge joints, and he has no wrist joints, so cannot twist his arms or hands around. He has ball jointed hips, but only internal click stop hinged knees, and no ankle joints.
The Tollytots doll has a ball jointed neck, so can tilt his head up and down to an extent, as well as rotate his head around. But his neck joint is rather loose and sloppy, so doesn't hold a tilted pose very well. His shoulder and elbows are ball jointed, so he has more freedom of movement in his arms than the DS doll, and can rotate his hands with his lower arms, for more realistic poses. He has ball jointed hips, but no knee or ankle joints. Overall I think the Tollytots has the better articulation.
Accessories:
The Disney Store doll has a top hat and traveling bag that are close in appearance to the movie props. The top hat has a smooth surface, and taller and wider than the Tollytots doll's hat. It looks and fits better and is more movie accurate. His traveling bag is larger, has wear and scruff marks making it more realistic looking than the plain looking Tollytots bag. However, with the Tollytots doll's curved fingers, he can actually wrap his fingers around the handle of the bag, which the DS doll cannot do. Therefore it looks better on him, and is much easier to secure using a single rubber band. The DS doll needed two rubber bands to secure the bag on his hand, and it still looks less realistic, as his hand is draped over the handle, rather than being wrapped around it.
Summary:
The Disney Store doll, while having the disadvantage of the awkward looking Disney Prince body, which also makes his outfit look ill fitting, is a much more accurate representation of the movie character. His serious expression also helps and better details in his outfit and accessories make him look like an actual movie character, rather than just a generic doll.
On the other hand, the Tollytots doll is only $20 versus $35 for the Disney doll. Plus it comes with the well made and movie accurate mini China Girl doll, which costs an additional $9.50 from the Disney Store.
Side by side comparison of the Classic versus the Limited Edition Moana Dolls. They are free standing side by side, hold their oars.
They were both released by the Disney Store this year. The Classic doll is 11 inches tall and costs $19.95. The LE doll is 16 inches tall and costs $119.95. They are very similar, but the LE doll is made of better materials, has more articulation, is more accurate to the movie character, has a more detailed outfit, with the addition of a leaf and flower crown, leafy arm band, leafy ankle bands, a beaded necklace with a pendant that opens, and the sidekicks Pua and Hei Hei, who can free stand atop a sandy base.
Here's my review of the LE Moana Doll.
She has mock sand on her feet, and there is also sand on the base for Pua. Somewhat like glitter, the sand does shed, and found its way on the sides of the box, and on the doll itself. Some of the sand on the tips of her toes also got rubbed off.
Moana has a unique body, but is fully articulated. She has ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Instead of the chest joint that are on most of the female Disney Store 17 inch LE dolls, Moana has a waist pivot joint that allows her upper torso to spin around 360 degrees. This is similar to the Designer Princess waist joint, but is lower down her back, just above her butt. That is doubtless due to her bare midriff. With large her flat feet, Moana can free stand very stably. But I think that some of her joints are a little too loose, especially her waist joint.
Her body proportions are also unique for a Disney LE doll, but that is due to those of the animated character herself. In particular, her arms and legs are thicker than the other LE Princess dolls. Rather than the flat hands of the other LE Princess dolls, Moana has curved hands, which I think look more natural. Her face is very pretty and a very good likeness of the animated character. She has thick eyebrows, big brown eyes glancing to her upper right. She has short painted eyelashes, but no rooted eyelashes (like the LE Merida dolls). She has a large flat nose, and full dark brown lips in a closed mouth smile.
She has dark brown wavy hair that has a lot of hair product, so it feels a bit crunchy. Some of her hair was actually stuck to the plastic support, her body and her clothes, due to the hair product not being fully dry when she was assembled. There was also some bits of tissue paper stuck to her hair.
She has a garland of cloth leaves and plastic flowers on her head, It is permanently attached to her head. There are plastic leafy bands around her left arm and both ankles. The arm band was rather loose, and I had to keep on moving it back up her arm. I think it could use a rubber band to keep it tight, which I don't think I accidently cut when deboxing her. Her ankle bands did have rubber bands around them. She has a beaded plastic necklace with a shell pendant that opens. I removed the large rubber band around her upper chest and the plastic support that kept the pendent attached to her top. But I left the rubber bands that kept the upper part of the necklace in place. She has an short satin orange top with white beaded decoration. There is a matching belt or sash around her hips, over her skirt. Her skirt has two woven layers, with a straw underskirt.
Pua is very stable on the sand dune base (and there are indentations in the base to show where to place him). Hei Hei can free stand on Pua's head, but you have to place him very carefully, using the indentations on Pua's head as a guide. He can also be made secure by a rubberband around Pua's head and over Hei Hei's feet.
Moana's oar is placed on her left side in the box, but the way the handle is formed on the oar, it fits most easily on her right hand (to our left when she faces us).
Here is the recently released Disney Store Deluxe Feature Rapunzel Doll. She is part of the line of new 16 inch singing Princess dolls for 2015. They not only sing, but each also comes with an accessory and have other special features. They also come in a sturdy reusable box with a satin carrying handle. They are available online and in stores in North America, and cost $49.95 each. Rapunzel I think is the most impressive doll in the line, and the most different from previous singing dolls of the same character.
Rapunzel's inner box slides out from the bottom, not the top of the box. First you have to detach the 'try me' switch from the front window by undoing two layers of tape. Once freed from the tape, it can be pushed back through a hole in the box to fall inside the box. The other end of the switch plugs into a socket in the back of the doll, and is detachable once the doll is deboxed. Once the 'try me' switch is detached, you trigger the sound and lights by sliding the lantern back and forth a little way along her hand. There is a LED light in the palm of her hand that flickers while she is singing, and lights up the lantern. She sings about 35 seconds of the 'Healing Incantation' song very clearly and just the right volume. The sound is better than any previous DS singing doll that I have heard. The gentleness of the song, with accompanying lights, and the beauty of the doll, makes for a very moving experience. I don't think I will get tired of hearing the song and seeing the lights on this doll.
Ariel Deluxe Feature Doll - 18'' H
I debox Wedding Ariel, and show her side by side with the original Once Upon a Wedding Ariel doll, which was released in early 2011, and never re-released. This new Wedding Ariel has the new 2017 Ariel base doll, and a simplified version of the 2011 gown. She has a half length aqua green mesh veil, as opposed to the full length veil of the original. The dress is much narrower than the original, and she has white flats rather than heels. In fact, she has flat feet, which is new for Disney Store Princess dolls with rubber legs, and cannot wear heels. This is the new style for all the Disney Store classic Princess dolls, which is too bad as not even Cinderella will have heels. Finally she is missing the corsage that the original had. I have misplaced the corsage of my original doll, which is why she isn't holding one. The original Wedding Ariel is about a 1/4 inch taller than the new one because she is wearing high heels rather than flats. Their actual heights are 11 1/2 versus 11 1/4 inches.

My 2015 Limited Edition Aladdin 18 Inch Doll has been fully deboxed. He is free standing, with his sword in his right hand. I have left out the Abu figure from these photos.
I got LE Aladdin in person from the Disney Store on the release day (October 13, 2015) for the Aladdin Diamond Edition DVD and Limited Edition Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar dolls. He is 18 inches tall, and is numbered 2094 of 3500. He has the same construction as the male LE dolls starting from the 2013 Prince Eric doll, with ball jointed elbows, wrists and ankles. He is in his street rat outfit, with a sword and Abu as accessories. He is barefoot and stands flat footed in the box.
Photos only now being uploaded to my Flickr account a year and a half later. I am missing most of the boxed and deboxing photos. I have added a recently taken photo of the Certificate of Authenticity.

Here are photos of my Rapunzel pin, that I just received today from the Disney Store. It was enclosed in a ziplock baggie, and shipped in a small bubble mailer, without any other protection. The backer card was bent in several places, but not too seriously. I straightened them out with my fingers to make the card more presentable. The pin itself is in excellent shape, with a small dent in the gold frame on the left side, and a small bubble in the translucent window near the top. It is the fourth pin in the Stunning Silhouettes series. I got all but Belle directly from the Disney Store when they were released. I think this pin is the best looking one so far, with the Belle pin a close second. I show the pin alone, and next to the rest of the series.
I got the Anna and Elsa Doll Set for Olaf's Frozen Adventure, from my local Disney Store on Wednesday September 27, 2017. They are in the new Holiday outfits, made of faux suede. Elsa has a cape attached to the back of her dress, and has a fur collar with embedded red jewels. Anna has a jacket that is sewn to her bodice. They both have the new style rubber legs with flat feet. Elsa has flat heeled ice shoes, which are a loose fit. Anna has boots with low heels. Anna is about 1/4 inch taller than Elsa (11 1/2 vs 11 1/4 inches), which looks awkward when they are side by side. They both have new face sculpts, for the first time since their original Classic dolls were introduced in 2013. I like how they look, but I like Elsa more than Anna. The old faces looked younger and cuter, but the new faces are more movie accurate.

I got the new Moana and Elsa 11 1/2 inch singing dolls today from my local Disney Store. The still don't have the singing Jasmine doll yet. I used my F&F 25% off coupon on the dolls. My store stopped providing plastic shopping bags last week, but I remembered to bring my reusable DS cloth bag today. Here they are boxed, side by side. Moana is in a simplified version of her chieftain outfit, and sings 16 seconds of "How Far I'll Go." Elsa is in her Olaf's Frozen Adventure holiday outfit, and sings 12 seconds of "When We're Together."
Moana and her accessories have been fully deboxed, and are free standing.
Here are detailed photos of my Disney Store Limited Edition Moana 17 inch doll, boxed and deboxed. She is #1531 of 6500. I also got a spare Moana that I will leave mint in box, but I haven't looked to see what edition number that doll has.

Rather than the flat hands of the other LE Princess dolls, Moana has curved hands, which I think look more natural. Her face is very pretty and a very good likeness of the animated character. She has thick eyebrows, big brown eyes glancing to her upper right. She has short painted eyelashes, but no rooted eyelashes (like the LE Merida dolls). She has a large flat nose, and full dark brown lips in a closed mouth smile.
She has dark brown wavy hair that has a lot of hair product, so it feels a bit crunchy. Some of her hair was actually stuck to the plastic support, her body and her clothes, due to the hair product not being fully dry when she was assembled. There was also some bits of tissue paper stuck to her hair.
She has a garland of cloth leaves and plastic flowers on her head, It is permanently attached to her head. There are plastic leafy bands around her left arm and both ankles. The arm band was rather loose, and I had to keep on moving it back up her arm. I think it could use a rubber band to keep it tight, which I don't think I accidently cut when deboxing her. Her ankle bands did have rubber bands around them. She has a beaded plastic necklace with a shell pendant that opens. I removed the large rubber band around her upper chest and the plastic support that kept the pendent attached to her top. But I left the rubber bands that kept the upper part of the necklace in place. She has an short satin orange top with white beaded decoration. There is a matching belt or sash around her hips, over her skirt. Her skirt has two woven layers, with a straw underskirt.
Pua is very stable on the sand dune base (and there are indentations in the base to show where to place him). Hei Hei can free stand on Pua's head, but you have to place him very carefully, using the indentations on Pua's head as a guide. He can also be made secure by a rubberband around Pua's head and over Hei Hei's feet.
Moana's oar is placed on her left side in the box, but the way the handle is formed on the oar, it fits most easily on her right hand (to our left when she faces us).

Side by side comparison of the the Live Action Wedding Jasmine (2019, LE 750) versus the Animated Wedding Jasmine (2015, LE 250) Limited Edition 17 inch dolls. Both by the Disney Store. They are fully deboxed, and are supported by their included display stands.
There was more than a hundred people waiting outside the Disney Store this morning. Fortunately most of them were after the Mickey merchandise, and I got picked in the raffle for Jasmine. Several collectors that I knew were also there, but none of them got picked. I selected the first doll that was handed to me at the register, since she looked perfect. I didn't bring my camera, so no photos from the release. She is #425 of 4000. I show her boxed, and with the inner box taken out and the front viewing window taken off. She is very beautiful and my second most favorite doll from the series. She is first one that I managed to get from the store raffle, so I could take her home on release day. I will debox her tomorrow.

I got my Couture de Force Elsa figure from the Disney Store on January 6, 2015. She is also available from other sites for a considerable discount from the list price. The details are amazing, and her transparent cape looks like it is actually made of ice. There are a total of five crystals - one in her crown, one in her necklace, one in the snowflake she is holding in her left hand, one in her hair (all of which are round clear gemstones), and a larger rectangular blue stone in her bodice. There is iridescent glitter on the snowflakes in her skirt and cape. There is just one significant paint flaw, with some paint rubbed off or missing from one of her fingers. I didn't even notice it until I examined a closeup photo that I took of her right hand. Otherwise, she is in perfect condition, with an excellent paint job.
Her face is very pretty, but is not as movie accurate as that of the Grand Jester Elsa. Her face and eyes are too round, and her nose is too narrow and straight. She is 8'' high to the top of her head, slightly taller than the 7 1/2'' H Elsa Grand Jester bust. She is very stable free standing.
Moana and her accessories have been fully deboxed, and are free standing.
Here are detailed photos of my Disney Store Limited Edition Moana 17 inch doll, boxed and deboxed. She is #1531 of 6500. I also got a spare Moana that I will leave mint in box, but I haven't looked to see what edition number that doll has.
She has mock sand on her feet, and there is also sand on the base for Pua. Somewhat like glitter, the sand does shed, and found its way on the sides of the box, and on the doll itself. Some of the sand on the tips of her toes also got rubbed off.
Moana has a unique body, but is fully articulated. She has ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Instead of the chest joint that are on most of the female Disney Store 17 inch LE dolls, Moana has a waist pivot joint that allows her upper torso to spin around 360 degrees. This is similar to the Designer Princess waist joint, but is lower down her back, just above her butt. That is doubtless due to her bare midriff. With large her flat feet, Moana can free stand very stably. But I think that some of her joints are a little too loose, especially her waist joint.
Her body proportions are also unique for a Disney LE doll, but that is due to those of the animated character herself. In particular, her arms and legs are thicker than the other LE Princess dolls. Here are detailed photos of the newly released Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95), that I just got from my local Disney Store. The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.

I just received today, October 17, 2012, the full set of all six dolls of the Disney Villains Collection Doll Set, that I pre-ordered on August 20, 2012. All the dolls arrived in perfect condition. They are all numbered #278 of 13,000. I photograph all the dolls in their cases, in group shots. They intend to leave these dolls as they are, untouched. I am not even going to open up the cases to fix stray hairs. I have bought "spares" of each of the dolls, to be completely deboxed. I pose these dolls with the pre-ordered boxed dolls. I also pair each of the villains with one of the Designer Princess dolls, which I have deboxed.

First look at the Fairytale Journals, of the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection, by the Disney Store. Released and purchased online on August 12, 2013. $16.95 US each.
Displayed in order of the release of their corresponding doll sets. I've just noticed that this order is exactly in reverse alphabetical order of the names of the Princesses, which is probably just a coincidence.

I got the Anna and Elsa Doll Set for Olaf's Frozen Adventure, from my local Disney Store on Wednesday September 27, 2017. They are in the new Holiday outfits, made of faux suede. Elsa has a cape attached to the back of her dress, and has a fur collar with embedded red jewels. Anna has a jacket that is sewn to her bodice. They both have the new style rubber legs with flat feet. Elsa has flat heeled ice shoes, which are a loose fit. Anna has boots with low heels. Anna is about 1/4 inch taller than Elsa (11 1/2 vs 11 1/4 inches), which looks awkward when they are side by side. They both have new face sculpts, for the first time since their original Classic dolls were introduced in 2013. I like how they look, but I like Elsa more than Anna. The old faces looked younger and cuter, but the new faces are more movie accurate.

Deboxing the Mulan Playset. First we cut some seals in the top lid, then cut the tape securing the the inner box to the outer box. The inner box is removed from the outer box by sliding it out. The doll and accessories are attached to the inner box. They can now be seen and photographed more clearly without the front plastic window.
I also got the Princess Mulan Tea Ceremony Playset ($29.95) today from my Disney Store. This is available online in the UK, but not in the US yet. My store didn't have the Belle or Anna playsets
yet. It comes with an 11 inch Mulan doll and many accessories.

Reboxing Belle. First I secure her stand to the red carpet stage by wire. Then I place the stage back into the inner box. Then I place the front cover over the inner box. Finally I place the inner box into the outer box.
Belle is now fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by her included display stand. For some of the last photos, I decided to reverse the purse to show the rose rather than the lion. Also I placed the outer skirt a little to the left of where it was in the box pose, to show off her legs.
Deboxing Belle. After I removed the rubber band securing the purse chain to her shoulder, I had to use tape to keep it from slipping off of her shoulder (same as with Ariel's purse). Her dress is tight around her hips and legs, so I had to undo it in the back (as well as the outer skirt) in order to pull out the display stand. It was also hard to put the stand back on her. The bracelets are solid rings, so cannot be removed unless you pop off her hands, which I did not try to do.
I was lucky enough to get Belle at the Disney Store today. There was about 70 people entered in the raffle, the most of any release in the series, so I was surprised and happy that I got picked. She is the sixth and final Premiere Series doll to be released. She is #1132 of 4500. I now have all six of the dolls, all gotten first hand, and am glad that the releases are finally over.
I love Belle's face and hair, her Beast purse and her jewelry, but her dress isn't one of my favorites from this series. My doll has some stains on her face, that look like stray hair product. I will clean them off when I debox her. Some strands of her earrings were stuck in her hair, that I freed when I took all the covers off the doll box.

A fellow collector on Flickr asked about how full the LE Tiana's skirt was. So I made a series of shots, with her skirt shown progressively wider. Tiana was the second doll in the Limited Edition 17 inch doll series, released by the Disney Store in March 2010, and was LE 5000.
First I pose her standing in her standard pose, supported by her included display stand. This is basically how she looks in the box pose.
Deboxing the Mulan Playset. First we cut some seals in the top lid, then cut the tape securing the the inner box to the outer box. The inner box is removed from the outer box by sliding it out. The doll and accessories are attached to the inner box. They can now be seen and photographed more clearly without the front plastic window.
I also got the Princess Mulan Tea Ceremony Playset ($29.95) today from my Disney Store. This is available online in the UK, but not in the US yet. My store didn't have the Belle or Anna playsets
yet. It comes with an 11 inch Mulan doll and many accessories.

These are all of the twelve inch dolls there were old Jasmines and new Jasmines and also Belle. Didnt see any Rapunzel though
The 2012 and 2013 Disney Store Princess Snow White Classic 12'' Dolls are compared by posing them side by side. They are standing, supported by Kaiser doll stands.
The 2013 Classic Snow White doll has many differences from the 2012 model, many of which are improvements in my view. The biggest changes are to her hairdo, her skirt and her legs, and the addition of a cape. There were also minor changes to her bow, collar, shoes and painted on underwear. Her head, face, arms and upper torso have remained the same. I like this doll much better than last year, and she represents the movie character much more faithfully.
Her face has remained the same, but I think she is beautiful, lively and very movie accurate. She has a round face, big brown eyes glancing to her right. She has three short thick black lashes over each eye, and short thin black eyebrows. She has small button nose, small full dark pink lips in a sweet open mouthed smile. She has pale flesh colored skin, and her cheeks are lightly rouged.
Her hair is greatly improved over the 2012 doll, mostly due to the redesign of her side curls. She is jet black shoulder length hair, in a bobbed hairdo. The main curls on each side of her head are now much larger, and the upper curls now curve in the same direction (clockwise) as the main curls. The upper side curls are now sewn to her hair, keeping them in place, as was done in the Snow White dolls before 2012. Her hair looks very movie accurate, and is much neater than the old style. There is a bit of gel in the curls, both on the sides and in the back, but the hair is still fairly soft to the touch.
Her dress is yet another version of her iconic blue, yellow and red gown. And with the addition of a red satin cape, her outfit is much closer to the movie character than any Disney Store Classic Snow White doll in recent years. Her bodice is the same as last year. It is dark blue satin covered in blue glitter, with puffy short blue satin sleeves. On her sleeves are oval bright red appliques. Her high white satin collar is rounded looks much better and movie accurate than last year's square cornered collar. Her newly added red satin cape is half-length (about four inches long), and is unfortunately sewn to the back of her dress. It is shorter than the movie cape, but matches the doll's shorter skirt. Her yellow satin skirt has changed a bit from last year. It is a couple of inches shorter, less full, and stiffer with the addition of a golden glitter floral pattern. It's color is more golden than last year. The width of last year's skirt was wasted as there was no petticoat underneath to keep it full. This year's skirt keeps its shape much better due to its stiffness. The glitter does tend to shed, finding its way in the dolls body, legs, face and hair, as well as your hands and the general neigborhood of the doll.
Her shoes are pale yellow flats that are shorter and slighter darker in color than last year's. Their soles are also rounded upwards at the toes, similar to the flats that the Mulan doll always wears. This design looks better on a doll with angled feet, than would the 2012 style flats, which had very flat soles. The red satin ribbon in her hair is thinner than last year's, with a much smaller bow. Last year's ribbon and bow were much prettier, but her bow was placed halfway down the right side of her head. Now the bow is in the center, at the top of her head, where it belongs.
Her body is fully articulated in the arms, but now has the rubber legs of 2011 and earlier dolls, which has internal knee joints and fixed angled feet. I would rather that they fixed the problems with the fully articulated 2012 legs, but when exposed the rubber legs do look a lot better, with the disadvantage of being much less posable. Also the glitter tends to stick to the rubber legs, and it cannot simply be brushed off. Although both dolls are wearing flats, the 2013 doll is about 1/4 inch taller since she has angled feet, wearas the 2012 doll has flat feet.
The packaging for the dolls is much improved. The box art has been completely redesigned, with beautiful decorations unique to each Princess (actually for each movie), and a cameo of the animated movie character. Also the way the dolls are packaged is much simplified, making it much easier and quicker to remove them from the box. Greatly reduced or eliminated are the tiny plastic T-bar fasteners, which secured the outfits to the backing and left little holes and sometimes runs in the fabric. There are still large T-bar fasteners tacking the back of the doll's head to the backing. Also the dolls with free flowing hair no longer have them flattened and sectioned into two parts, making it hard to even out the back of their hair after deboxing. Instead, their hair is gathered up and placed to one side of the doll, and secured by thread. It looks good as is in the box. Or if the doll is deboxed, it is easy to shake out the hair and even it out using just your fingers.
The 2013 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection, released on June 10, 2013. They consist of 11-12'' articulated dolls of the 11 official Disney Princesses, from Snow White to Merida, as well as Princes, Villains and Sidekicks. I now have all 11 Princesses, Queen Elinor, Charlotte and Gaston. I will photograph them boxed, during deboxing and fully deboxed. I will also post reviews and comparative photos.

HD Video of the 2014 Tiana Deluxe Singing 11'' Doll singing 30 seconds of ''Almost There.''
The newly released Tiana Deluxe Singing Doll Set. She has a beautiful white dress, and sings ''Almost There'' when her left wrist is twisted. Unlike most of the other Tiana dolls, her hair is down, and not in a bun. She comes in a beautiful box that is modeled after a story book, with a front lid that opens, and reveals images from the movie ''The Princess and the Frog'' (2009) inside. She comes with many accessories, including a ''magical'' pot of gumbo, that is a clear pot shaped snow globe with colored liquid and many ingredients.
The Disney Store lists this doll as a Talking Doll, but since she actually sings rather than talks, I prefer to call her a singing doll instead. Also that is how she is labeled on the box she comes in.
I bought several new items in the Disney Store on Friday July 11, 2014. The Deluxe Singing Ariel and Tiana dolls, an Olaf plush purse, and a new style Ariel reusable shopping bag to put them in. Here are preliminary photos. I will be deboxing the singing dolls and posting photos shortly.
