Deboxing my 2015 Limited Edition Aladdin 18 Inch Doll. Closeup of lower back, showing the manufacturer's markings.
I got LE Aladdin in person from the Disney Store on the release day (October 13, 2015) for the Aladdin Diamond Edition DVD and Limited Edition Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar dolls. He is 18 inches tall, and is numbered 2094 of 3500. He has the same construction as the male LE dolls starting from the 2013 Prince Eric doll, with ball jointed elbows, wrists and ankles. He is in his street rat outfit, with a sword and Abu as accessories. He is barefoot and stands flat footed in the box.
Photos only now being uploaded to my Flickr account a year and a half later. I am missing most of the boxed and deboxing photos. I have added a recently taken photo of the Certificate of Authenticity.
Evil Queen Disney Villains Designer Collection Doll
Personal Photos - Deboxed
The doll has been entirely freed from all shipping restraints, undressed, reclothed, and finally placed back on the included doll stand. The dress was VERY tight and unyielding around her legs, so lifting her out of the doll stand took quite a bit of effort. Putting her back on the stand was even more of an adventure. In fact, in hindsight, I should have taken her dress off BEFORE trying to remove her from the stand. And likewise, I should have placed her on the stand BEFORE putting her dress on.
While trying to put her on the stand while dressed, there was so much resistance that I actually broke the plastic head piece of the stand, where it connected to the metal rod. I did a makeshift repair of the stand, making it sturdy enough to place the Evil Queen back on the stand and be stable enough to pose her for photographs. I will have to superglue the pieces back together when I have a bit of time.
Her outfit is not very movie accurate, but is luxurious looking, and fit for a Queen. At least the colors of the dress, cape and collar are close to those of the movie. The deep purple velvet dress, with purple satin liner, is sewn to the cape and collar. The collar is white two layered satin. The cape is black velvet with a red satin lining. The gloves are deep purple satin. Her crown, which is sewn to her hair, is matte finish golden plastic, with small ruby rhinestones. Her bracelet-like main part of her belt consists of three strands of rhinestones in gold, with a large ruby jewel in the center. From the center hangs two strands of rhinestones in gold ending in chain link tassles. She has gold beaded earrings that are similar to those of LE 17'' Belle.
Her dramatic makeup and scowling, haughty face reminds me of Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. She has thin double arched eyebrows, rooted eyelashes with superlong antennae-like lashes at the ends. She has violet eyeshadow with dark purple eyeliner, eyes narrowed to slits, from which small green irises peer straight ahead. She has blood red lips in a grimace. There is a hint of red rouge on her cheeks.

Designer Cruella De Vil Doll In Display Case
At my Disney Store, the right to buy Maleficent today was ''raffled'' off to twenty lucky people. There were maybe 30-40 people entered, and I was not one of the winners. So I will have to get her online tonight. There were a total of 13,000 of each doll produced, so there should be no problem getting a doll online.
Individual dolls may be purchased online and in stores beginning on September 10, 2012, and ending on October 15. One doll will be made available on in stores Monday of each week. Then on Tuesday (at 12 am Pacific Time) that doll will be available online. Here is the list of the dolls and their release dates:
September 10, 2012: Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty (1959).
September 17, 2012: Evil Queen, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).
September 24, 2012: Queen of Hearts, from Alice in Wonderland (1951).
October 01, 2012: Ursula, from The Little Mermaid (1989).
October 08, 2012: Mother Gothel, from Tangled (2010).
October 15, 2012: Cruella de Vil, from One Hundred and One Dalmations (1961).
Deboxing Cinderella. First the inner box is removed, and the viewing window removed from the inner box. Then the doll and stage are removed from the inner box. Then the plastic support is removed from her back and head. Then the skirt is freed from the cardboard stage. Then the base of the display stand is freed from the stage.
I just received Premiere Series Cinderella from the Disney Store today. I ordered her on release day, Saturday October 13, 2018. She is #1607 of 4400. She arrived in perfect shape. However there was three fingerprints on the inside of the viewing window above her head, that you can see in some of the photos.
Her face and makeup are absolutely gorgeous. I wish her hair was closer to the design sketch. Also there is too much black in the skirt, and the outer tulle reminds me of LE Ursula's skirt. But overall she is very striking, and represents Cinderella very well. I rank her third in this doll series, after Snow White and Jasmine.

Screenshots, images and information from the US Disney Store product page.
Released today, and sold out the same day, as reported in the DisneyPinForum. Too bad that the outfit is plastic, appears to be molded to her body, as opposed to a removable fabric outfit. I think her face is prettier than the mini doll that comes with the Tollytots OZ doll.

Jcpennys Disney Store purchases!! SQUEE!!! The price for the dolls is $12 for one and $10 for two or more. The dolls have the same heads and hair but lower quality outfits and non posable arms. Sigh.
Inner box has been taken out of the outer box.
I got the Ariel and Eric 'Kiss the Girl' playset yesterday (Tuesday October 23) from my local Disney Store. It came out in the UK about three weeks ago, and I have been anxiously waiting for it to arrive in the US since then. It is in some stores in the US, but not online in the US ShopDisney site yet. It costs $59.95 (twice as much as the previous Classic Disney Doll playsets that came out this year), and is in a huge box. It has Ariel and Eric in a rowboat, with fishes and Flounder spouting water around them. There is also a Sebastian figure, and two more outfits for Ariel (mermaid and pink). I show the set boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed in various configurations. I put the set in front of the background formed by the inner box, and finally rebox the set.
Ariel is sporting her blue kingdom tour dress, and finally has her hair parted in the correct side of her head (on her left). She also has some heavily gelled bangs on her right side reminiscent of Snow Queen Elsa's crown of bangs.
Eric is in white shirt and blue pants, with black boots. He is remarkable in that he is the first Classic Prince doll to be fully articulated. He has the same body as Li Shang and Flynn Rider of the 2017 Disney Designer Collection limited edition doll sets. So he has a swivel jointed neck, and ball jointed elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. He can also sit without splaying his legs. As with most Prince dolls, he has a smaller head than his Princess, Ariel, which looks strange when they are side by side.
The boat can be separated from the base, consisting of the plastic water and fish. The oars can be separated from the boat. Sebastian can free stand, or can be inserted into peg at the bow of the boat.
This is a great set, and I think is worth the cost. The only problem is to find a place to put it, especially if it is out of the box.

Live Action Cinderella Slipper Ornament
$24.99
Item No. 7509055890904P
US Disney Store
I received this slipper ornament from the Disney Store a couple of weeks ago, but just now got around to unpacking it and taking some photos. It is still available online from the Disney Store, and costs $24.95. It is made by Disney Parks, but I haven't seen it yet in Disneyland.
I am very impressed with the ornament. It is an accurate representation of the live action Cinderella slipper. It is made of resin and metal, with faceted sides and a glittering golden butterfly. It is about 4 inches along the top of the shoe, the same size as the other Disney Parks shoe ornaments. It stands comparison to my $395 Arribas Cinderella faceted crystal slipper, which is about twice its size (7.5 inches along the top of the shoe). I show it alone from various angles, and also side by side with some of my other LA Cinderella slipper figures.

US Disney Store
Product Images and Screenshots
Released October 2012
Available In Stores and Online
The 11'' Talking Taffyta Muttonfudge doll, from the Wreck-It Ralph line of Disney Store merchendise, is a fully poseable plastic doll which says several phrases when you press a button on her belly. She can free stand, and her outfit is removable. Taffyta Muttonfudge is the leader of the kid racers in the Sugar Rush video arcade game. That one of the three featured games in the Wreck-It Ralph animated movie, which went into wide release in the US on November 2, 2012. I purchased her in store on November 10. I will be photographing her boxed, during her unboxing, and fully deboxed.

Silver Cinderella, in her unopened display case, with the slipcover off.
I just received the 2011 D23 Expo Exclusive Disney Princess Designer Collection Silver Cinderella Doll. She is #116 of 250. The doll, case and slipcover are in near mint condition. I bought her from another doll collector, through a Disney doll group. I thought I would never own this doll, but now I do.
She is 11 1/2 inches tall, and is fully posable. Her gown and headband are silver rather than the blue of the LE 8000 Designer Cinderella. She has many more rhinestones in her bodice than Blue Cinderella, which is the only other difference between the two dolls. She also celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Disney Store. Both the D23 logo and the Disney Store 25th Anniversary logo are part of the graphics of the slipcover. She is really cool, being the first D23 exclusive doll, and also the rarest.
I show Silver Cinderella boxed, with the slipcover on and off. I also show her next to my blue Designer Cinderella (#1999 of 8000), who has been deboxed and reposed in her display case, without the covers and backing.

Mickey with the satin ribbon removed.
I just received the January limited release of the monthly Disney Store Mickey Mouse Through the Years Sketchbook Ornament Set. It is a two ornament set based on the 1928 animated film Plane Crazy, which was the first Mickey Mouse short filmed, but not the first one released (which was Steamboat Willie). The main ornament is Mickey holding a book 'How to Fly' and a mirror. The smaller ornament is his plane (on a much smaller than Mickey). It is very well designed and made. It is still available online, but was never available at my local Disney Store.

The inner doll box, taken out of the outer box. Then the front viewing window is taken off the inner box, so that the doll is now in clear view.
I received my Disney Designer Collection Premiere Series Snow White Limited Edition Doll today. I had ordered her online at the release day, shortly after 12 AM in the morning of Saturday October 6, 2018. She is #1301 of 4100. She came in a shipper box that is approximately the same size as the LE 17 inch doll shippers. It original shipping label said GIRLS TOYS LE PR DSGN SNOW DOLL F18, and CART #: 01298. There was a small piece of masking tape stuck to the side of the box with the actual edition number (matching the CoA): 1301. Inside there was another corrugated cardboard box snugly fitting in the outer shipping box. Inside that was the actual doll box, which was covered with tissue paper, and fit snugly in the inner shipping box, with cardboard caps on the top and bottom of the doll box. The shipper box was undamaged in transit, as was the inner box and the doll box itself.
The doll box has folding panels in the front with magnetic closure, with a large design sketch of Snow White and the year 1937 in large numerals. In the background are photographers in silhouette snapping photos, and a red carpet. The back of the box has angled corners, making for a hexagonal shaped box. The sides and back of the box also has images of Snow White. The top of the box has a clear window with the title of the collection in gold lettering. Inside the front covers are replicas of the movie poster, invitation and tickets to the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Carthay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles, on December 21, 1937. The doll is behind a rectangular viewing window extending almost the full width and height of the box.
The inner box containing the doll and front viewing window can be slid out from the outer box. It is entirely enclosed, so can be displayed as is, without having to deal with the front covers either covering up the doll, or taking up space in front or to the sides of the inner box. The doll is on top a red carpet that has steps in front, and is flocked cardboard.
The doll herself is by far my favorite of the current Designer Premiere Series. I'm slightly biased because Snow White is my favorite Disney Princess, and am so happy that she turned out so well. I think her gown and accessories are very beautifully designed and produced. It also is very fitting for Snow White, and would be something she would wear to the premiere of her own movie.
I show her boxed, with the inner box removed from the outer box, and finally with the front viewing window removed from the inner box.
I will fully debox her tomorrow and post photos here when I do.
Holiday Anna is fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by the included display stand.
Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Anna Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Elsa. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #1234 of 7000, which I think is a really cool number.
I like her a lot more than I thought I would from the stock and leaked photos. I don't think she looks goofy, even with her smirk. But I do think that her in box pose is very awkward. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has lavender tights, which compares nicely with the green tights of FF Anna.
I show her in box, and with all the covers removed. I will debox her later. I show her next to my deboxed Frozen Fever Anna doll, who I think is closest to her in design among the Anna LE dolls.

Here are detailed photos of the Aurora and Maleficent Doll Set. This is the fourth and last release of the 2016 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. It is #1335 of 6000.
I got it in my local Disney Store's raffle at lunch time, on release day, Tuesday October 18, 2016. About 8-10 people showed up for the raffle, for 18 doll sets. So about the same number of people for each of the releases in this series. I saw three sets before I was satisfied with mine, mainly due to Aurora's curly bang not laying right against her forehead, and/or too many stray hairs.

Disney's Fairytale Designer Collection pairs heroes and villains in dramatic limited edition doll sets. After sixteen years of anticipation, Maleficent fulfills her evil curse on the Princess Aurora with this highly detailed duo.
Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Elsa Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Anna. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #3818 of 7000.
I like her very much, both her new face and outfit. But she does have a couple of defects. One is that her hair is a bit messy on top, where part of her crown of bangs going the wrong way. The other is that there is a shallow cut on her forehead, that is especially visible when looking straight on in bright lighting. I think of it as a scar from the fight in the ice castle. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has dark blue ice heels.
I show her in box, and with all the covers removed. I will debox her later. I show her next to my deboxed Frozen Fever Elsa doll and Harrods Snow Queen Elsa doll. Unlike those two dolls, OFA Elsa's cape doesn't have any embroidery. The snowflake and icicle patterns are depicted using glued on silver glitter appliques and clear crystals. Her dress does have considerable use of embroidery.

Disney Villains Designer Collection

Designer Ursula Doll In Display Case
Beast has been fully deboxed. He isn't that stable free standing, so he is supported by his included display stand in these photos. His furry tail is wired internally, so is quite posable.
Detailed photos of my Belle and Beast Limited Edition 17 Inch Doll Set. I got it second hand, after my Disney Store order was cancelled. It looks in perfect condition, and is #107 of 500. There are two Certificates of Authenticity, one for each doll, with the same number.
The box is very similar in construction to the Jasmine and Aladdin Platinum Wedding Doll Set. I love the poses of the dolls in the box, but I will debox them anyway, as is my custom. I need to know how they look freed from the factory restraints, from all angles.
The Jack and Sally Coffin Dolls, by Diamond Select Toys. I got both from the Disney Store. Sally is 14 inches tall, is made of solid vinyl, and has ball jointed neck, shoulder, waist and hip joints. She has a cloth rag dress, and molded hair. Her neck is initially very stiff. Jack is 16 inches tall, is made of vinyl, and has jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips and knees. As with Sally, Jack's neck is initially very stiff. His head is hollow, and glows in the dark. Here they are fully deboxed. They come in cardboard coffin shaped boxes, and have display stands.
