The newly released 2014 Disney Princess Classic Doll Collection are now included in the 2 or more $10 each sale. They are normally $14.95 each.
Missing so far in the 2014 Disney Princess lineup is Aurora. All of the old (2013) Princess, Prince and Villain doll pages have been removed, except for Maleficent and Wedding Rapunzel.
Of the new dolls, I think Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Merida have significant improvements in their outfits. The dolls' faces and bodies look the same as last year's.
First Edition Disney Store Merida with the famous "green nose" problem. I bought her nude and second hand.
Her nose, the ears, hands, feet, knees and chin were green (production fail), and her hair was a bit frizzy. Result after 2 weeks work :)
The Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set with the contents deboxed and placed in and around the empty backing.
I really like Belle's winter outfit. She appears to be last year's model, as her face and hair (widow's peak) are different. She has rubber legs and dark pink flats. The most impressive props are the enchanted rose in the bell jar, and the enchanted mirror. The bell jar is removable from the base, and the enchanted rose is glittery. The enchanted mirror is a real glass mirror, which reminds me of Designer Princess Rapunzel's mirror.
Here are detailed photos of the newly released Beauty and the Beast Deluxe Doll Set ($79.95), that I just got from my local Disney Store. The accessory figures look really detailed and well done. In fact, I like Chip better in this set than the one with the new Classic Belle doll. Also the bluebird looks nicer than the one with the new Classic Snow White. Belle and Beast are in their winter outfits. Belle also has her blue peasant outfit and her yellow ball gown. Beast also has his formal outfit. Philippe is way too small, but is a very cute plush. I like this set way better than the ones for Aladdin or Sleeping Beauty.
Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released). But the manager brought out the Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel dolls from the back so I can see them and take photos. They have not yet received the last two dolls to be released, Tiana and Belle. The placard lists the release dates and photos of the dolls, along with their edition sizes. They will be released one per week on Saturday, starting on October 6, rather than the usual Tuesday. They will start to hand out vouchers starting an hour before store opening and lasting about 30 minutes. They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.
The schedule of releases (for the US and Canada):
Snow White, 10/6/2018, LE 4100
Cinderella, 10/13/2018, LE 4400
Jasmine, 10/20/2018, LE 4000

The doll and accessories are attached to the inner box. They can now be seen and photographed more clearly without the front plastic window.

The doll box, with the front covers closed.
I received my Disney Designer Collection Premiere Series Snow White Limited Edition Doll today. I had ordered her online at the release day, shortly after 12 AM in the morning of Saturday October 6, 2018. She is #1301 of 4100. She came in a shipper box that is approximately the same size as the LE 17 inch doll shippers. It original shipping label said GIRLS TOYS LE PR DSGN SNOW DOLL F18, and CART #: 01298. There was a small piece of masking tape stuck to the side of the box with the actual edition number (matching the CoA): 1301. Inside there was another corrugated cardboard box snugly fitting in the outer shipping box. Inside that was the actual doll box, which was covered with tissue paper, and fit snugly in the inner shipping box, with cardboard caps on the top and bottom of the doll box. The shipper box was undamaged in transit, as was the inner box and the doll box itself.
The doll box has folding panels in the front with magnetic closure, with a large design sketch of Snow White and the year 1937 in large numerals. In the background are photographers in silhouette snapping photos, and a red carpet. The back of the box has angled corners, making for a hexagonal shaped box. The sides and back of the box also has images of Snow White. The top of the box has a clear window with the title of the collection in gold lettering. Inside the front covers are replicas of the movie poster, invitation and tickets to the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Carthay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles, on December 21, 1937. The doll is behind a rectangular viewing window extending almost the full width and height of the box.
The inner box containing the doll and front viewing window can be slid out from the outer box. It is entirely enclosed, so can be displayed as is, without having to deal with the front covers either covering up the doll, or taking up space in front or to the sides of the inner box. The doll is on top a red carpet that has steps in front, and is flocked cardboard.
The doll herself is by far my favorite of the current Designer Premiere Series. I'm slightly biased because Snow White is my favorite Disney Princess, and am so happy that she turned out so well. I think her gown and accessories are very beautifully designed and produced. It also is very fitting for Snow White, and would be something she would wear to the premiere of her own movie.
I show her boxed, with the inner box removed from the outer box, and finally with the front viewing window removed from the inner box.
I will fully debox her tomorrow and post photos here when I do.
Deboxing the Cinderella and Lady Tremaine doll set. The hard plastic cover has been removed from the display case, so the dolls are in clear view. They are still attached to the cardboard backing and plastic support pieces.

#2287 of 6000
Detailed photos of the Cinderella and Lady Tremaine DFDC limited edition doll set that I bought on the release day (September 6, 2016) from my local Disney Store. There were only about 10 people who entered the raffle for the 18 doll sets available. My set is numbered #2287 of 6000. I didn't see any significant flaws when I inspected the set at the register. I didn't get a gift bag when I bought the set, but returned the next day and they gave me one. The set is still available online, and in some stores as of Friday September 9.
Cinderella does have teeth in her face mold. They are painted over to give the illusion of a closed mouth. But at the angle that her head is positioned, it is hard to see the painted over teeth, and the illusion is very convincing.
Cinderella is wearing dark pink high heels with articulated ankles. She has blemish on her cheek that looks like hair product that spilled onto her face. So I was able to wash it off when I took the cover off the display case. Her hair is stiff with hair product, so I decided to leave her hair alone after deboxing, even though it looks a bit messy, and some of her hair curls around her neck.
When I deboxed Lady Tremaine, I unpinned her skirt so it's much fuller. I also unpinned her scarf so it falls freely from her head. It is sewn to her hair. I left Cindy's skirt pinned together in the front (so it looks pleated), but I may free it later.
This is my favorite set in this year's Designer Collection, and has been since I first saw images of it. Cinderella looks even more beautiful in person than in photos. I love her hair color and her face. Lady Tremaine's outfit is outstanding, and is much better than the one on the 17 inch Limited Edition Lady Tremaine from 2012.
Disney Villains Collection Doll Set
The Disney Store ($477)
Limited edition, #278 of 13,000
First Look
I just received today, October 17, 2012, the full set of all six dolls of the Disney Villains Collection Doll Set, that I pre-ordered on August 20, 2012. All the dolls arrived in perfect condition. They are all numbered #278 of 13,000. I photograph all the dolls in their cases, in group shots. They intend to leave these dolls as they are, untouched. I am not even going to open up the cases to fix stray hairs. I have bought "spares" of each of the dolls, to be completely deboxed. I pose these dolls with the pre-ordered boxed dolls. I also pair each of the villains with one of the Designer Princess dolls, which I have deboxed.
The Designer Villains and their release dates are:
September 10, 2012: Maleficent.
September 17, 2012: Evil Queen.
September 24, 2012: Queen of Hearts
October 01, 2012: Ursula.
October 08, 2012: Mother Gothel.
October 15, 2012: Cruella De Vil.
The Designer Princesses that are paired with these Villain dolls are:
Aurora paired with Maleficent.
Snow White with Evil Queen.
Cinderella (standing in for Alice) with Queen of Hearts.
Ariel with Ursula.
Rapunzel with Mother Gothel.
Belle (standing in for Anita Radcliffe) with Cruella De Vil

So I decided to redo her hair and came up with my own way to do the bun. I'm pretty impressed with the result and surprised how (in my opinion) it turned out very accurate to the movie.

Holiday Elsa has been fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by the included display stand.
I was surprised that her dress was about a half inch short of floor length. That is probably so that her ice heels can be seen under her dress, when it is pulled tight against her body. Her dress also has a long train, which is hidden when her cape is behind her. Her velvet dress has a deep red satin lining. Her cape has a sheer blue lining. Her cape flows better than those of Snow Queen or Frozen Fever Elsa because it is made from lighter material, and doesn't have any embroidery.
I will compare OFA Elsa with the other 17 inch Elsa dolls soon.
Detailed photos of the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Elsa Limited Edition Doll. I got her from my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday December 12, 2017, along with Anna. I was the only one waiting for the dolls before the store opened. She is #3818 of 7000.
I like her very much, both her new face and outfit. But she does have a couple of defects. One is that her hair is a bit messy on top, where part of her crown of bangs going the wrong way. The other is that there is a shallow cut on her forehead, that is especially visible when looking straight on in bright lighting. I think of it as a scar from the fight in the ice castle. The nicest thing I've discovered about the doll is that she has dark blue ice heels.
Unlike the comparable dolls Frozen Fever Elsa and Harrods Snow Queen Elsa, OFA Elsa's cape doesn't have any embroidery. The snowflake and icicle patterns are depicted using glued on silver glitter appliques and clear crystals. Her dress does have considerable use of embroidery. I will call her Holiday Elsa since she is in her Christmas outfit.

Tiana has been fully deboxed, then is reboxed.
I fixed the broken purse chain by using thread. It took me three tries and about 45 minutes to fix it so it didn't come loose again while posing her with the purse. I left the rubber band that secures the purse chain to her shoulder alone.
I received my Premiere Series Tiana doll on Friday, November 9. I had ordered her online from the Disney Store when she was released last Saturday, November 3, 2018. She is #253 of 4000. She is unusual in that her CoA number is only one greater than the Cart #252 that is on the original shipper label. All the other Premiere Series dolls so far have had an edition number 3 greater than the Cart #. The box and doll are close to perfect, except for a broken chain on her purse. I have read that this is a fairly common defect in the doll. Rather than trying to get a replacement from the Disney Store I think I will try to fix it on my own. She has a beautiful face, but the outfit is my least favorite of the series. The large yellow green cloth flower on her chest is really tacky and distracting, and covers her neck and part of her face. The neon yellow green of the skirt is also too gaudy for me, looks like a tutu, and the floral embroidery on her skirt looks childish. Her shoes are lovely, however. She is the fifth of the six doll series, with Belle being the last release in the US and Canada.

Group photo of the LE dolls I got in person from the Disney Store on the release day (October 13, 2015) for the Aladdin Diamond Edition Release Day. Unopened boxes of the 17'' Teal Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar dolls. Photos only now being uploaded to my Flickr account.
I visited the Disney Store twice today to get the various Limited Edition dolls that were being released in store today. They included Teal Jasmine (pre-ordered), Aladdin, and Jafar 17 inch doll, and the Rapunzel and Mother Gothel Designer Doll Set. I was also getting the pre-ordered Aladdin Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. I got to the store at 6:30 am with another collector and was first in line. We could see the 17 inch dolls stacked up (on their backs) behind the counter. At about 7 am another regular of these releases joined us. At about 9 am they handed out line cards, and told us that they had 8 Jafar, 12 Aladdin and 16 Jasmine dolls. There were 11 people in line, so three people missed out on the Jafar, but they got the other dolls. Then at 9:30 a twelfth person showed up, and got the last Aladdin.
Here are my Anna and Elsa dolls, in their unopened boxes, side by side so you can see how they look together. I will show each of them in detailed photos soon.
I got the Olaf's Frozen Adventure Anna and Elsa 17 inch LE dolls at my local Disney Store today. I got to the store at 8 am, and was the second one there. But the earlier person, also a regular at these releases, decided to order them online instead of waiting for the store to open. So I was the only one in line for the dolls. A few people showed up right before the store opened, but they weren't there for the dolls. This time after the opening ceremony, they didn't give out the souvenir key to the guest taking part in the ceremony.
They had four Elsa and three Anna dolls behind the registers, but no promo placard. I picked the first Anna that they showed me, as she looked perfect. But had to look at all four Elsas before I chose one, as none of them had perfect hair. Here as photos I took at the store. I will post detailed photos of the dolls later today.

Singing Cinderella is fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by a Kaiser stand.
I got the new Disney Store 11 1/2 inch singing Cinderella doll on Monday July 9, 2018. I also got the Ariel singing doll at the same time, whom I will show separately. There are also new singing Moana, Jasmine and Elsa dolls, which I have not gotten yet. They are showing up in various Disney Stores both here in the US and also in the UK, but are not yet available online.
She is in much simpler packaging than previous singing dolls, and has no accessories. She is also less expensive than previous singing dolls, only $19.99, just $5 more than a regular Classic doll. She has a lovely new face paint that is different than the current Classic doll.
Cinderella sings 'A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes' when you twist left her hand. Like Ariel, Cinderella only sings one verse of her song, lasting about 12 seconds. She has golden blonde hair, with gentle curls stiffened by hair product, so I left them mostly alone. She has a glittering dark pink dress, with white satin collar and hem, and decorated by pale pink ribbons. She has a pink sash around her waist, and a thin pink ribbon and bow in her hair. She has dark blue eyes, dark pink lips in an open mouth smile, and is glancing to her right. She is a beautiful doll, and is my second favorite 12 inch Cinderella doll, after the Heroes and Villains Cinderella.
11 am. At the second Disney Store. Art of Belle rose mug. Front view (a little out of focus). $14.95.
I went to my local Disney Store to pre-order Belle, Beast and Gaston this morning. I lined up outside the store at 6:30 am. There was one person in front of me, that came here to get the Beauty and the Beast tsums that were also being released today. Later on she decided to get the dolls as well (all three of them), after hearing people talking about them in the line. Another budding doll collector, I hope, and not a reseller. There were 7 people by 7 am, 15 by 8 am and about 20 at 9 am.
The staff turned on the store lights at 9 am, and I could see a small promo placard behind the counter. But there were no LE dolls on display as there usually are for a pre-order. I was very disappointed that I couldn't see the dolls up close, not even Belle. They handed out line cards at about 9:30, and I got #2 card for all three dolls. There were 15 Belle, about 10 Beast and 6 Gaston. Some people who wanted Gaston missed out. There was one Belle left when the store opened at 10 am. I got all the BatB tsums, including the medium Belle and the large Beast.
Anxious to see a display Belle doll, I went over to another local Disney Store about a half hour away. They had no display dolls, only the promo placard. But they did have one Belle pre-order still available, so I took that doll, so I didn't have to chance getting my spare Belle online tonight. They had two styles of Art of Belle mugs. I bought the one with the collage artwork on it.

Jasmine was the third release in the Premiere Series, in the US and Canada. She sold out on the US ShopDisney site much quicker than even Cinderella. I was lucky enough to get her, and got email confirmation almost immediately. She is my second favorite of this series, after Snow White.

Closeup of Aladdin and Jasmine holding hands. Neither of them has a wedding ring.
Deboxing the Aladdin and Jasmine Wedding set. The front and rear lids of the box have been removed, leaving the inner cardboard backing, to which the dolls are attached. The backing is free standing.
Detailed photos of my Limited Edition Aladdin and Jasmine 17'' Wedding Doll Set. I received it from the Disney Store on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. It arrived in perfect condition. I show the set boxed, during deboxing, and completely deboxed. My set is #155 of 250. The shipping carton was labeled at Cart #005, so the actual edition number was offset by 150.
Their outfits are very beautiful. Their colors are coordinated, being white and gold. I placed the jeweled and feathered turban on Aladdin for most of the shots. Aladdin can free stand, as is usual for male dolls, but he isn't that stable, so I used the included stand for most of the shots. Aladdin is fully articulated, as with all the LE 17'' male dolls since Eric in 2013. So he has ball jointed elbow, wrist and ankle joints, and hinged knee joints.
Jasmine had the usual problem of her massive hair pulling her backwards in her display stand, so it was hard to make her stand up straight when her hair was behind her. So for the final photos of her with Aladdin, I draped her hair partly over her shoulder, so she would be more balanced. As with the Wedding Cinderella doll, there are an incredible number of gems in Jasmine's dress, especially in the golden embroidery at the hem of her skirt. The gems are gold and clear, and are of varying sizes.
They are listed as 17'' H, but Aladdin is actually 18'' H, and Jasmine is 16.5'' H.

Comparing two Designer Belle and Beast doll couples, from the Disney Store.
On the left is the Designer Princess Belle and Classic Beast/Prince dolls, from 2011. There was no Designer Beast in 2011, so I have to make do with the Classic Beast doll. Belle is on her custom doll stand. Her face and head mold are unique to this doll. She has a beehive hairdo, rooted antennae eyelashes, jeweled gold satin bodice, a golden organza skirt made of ruffled roses, multiple layered tulle petticoat, and gold gloves. She has golden earrings and is holding long stemmed red rose.
On the right is the recently released Fairytale Designer Belle and the Beast Doll Set. Since it is a limited edition doll set, and about double the price of the 2011 couple, the dolls are considerably more detailed and movie accurate. In particular, the Beast has a custom built body and head molds, and a very elaborate costume. He is also over an inch taller than the Belle doll, as well as being much wider. Unlike the play doll version, this Beast cannot be transformed into the Prince. Belle's face mold is the same as the 2013 version, but has a face paint that is considerably more movie accurate, in addition to having rooted eyelashes. Her hair is based on the 2012 Classic doll's hairdo, rather than the simpler and more movie accurate 2013 Classic doll. The side curls of the 2012 doll have been exaggerated in this Designer doll, to extend well past her neck. Her dress is very elaborate, with heavy use of golden embroidery and jewels, and the top half of her skirt is gathered. She has full length gold colored gloves, and floor length petticoat with lacy hem.
Disney Princess Designer Belle Doll (2011, $59.50)
The Beast Classic Doll - 12'' (2013, $14.95)
Belle and the Beast Doll Set - Disney Fairytale Designer Collection (2013, $129.95)
They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.

Next the spacer tabs are pushed through the backing, and the Elsa is removed from the backing. She is still attached to the spacer and the doll stand. She is stood up next to the backing, which has a view of the interior of Arendelle Cathedral, where her coronation took place.
The plastic tabs of the spacers have been freed by removing the tape securing them to the back of the cardboard backing. Also all the T-tabs tacking the doll's outfit to the backing have been cut off. The outfit is now free from the backing, and the bottom of the backing can be lowered to show the base of the doll stand, her shoes and the wire and tissue paper wrapped around her legs.
Deboxing my pre-ordered Elsa Limited Edition DVD Doll (that is the name of the doll on my Disney Store receipts). First the front cover is removed, revealing the clear plastic front of the inner box. The Certificate of Authenticity is below the plastic cover. She is #1875 of 5000. Then the plastic cover is removed, and the back outer cover is removed. What remains is the cardboard backing to which the doll is still attached. She is now in clear view from three sides. There were a few stray hairs in her front bangs, some of which I tucked in her bangs, some of which I trimmed.
I just got my pre-ordered Anna and Elsa Limited Edition dolls from my local Disney Store. I also got my pre-ordered Frozen Blu-ray/DVD movie combo. They had very few other Frozen items for sale, the male dolls (Classic Hans and Kristoff, and plush Kristoff) and the plush Anna and Elsa dolls. No girl's Anna or Elsa costumes, Classic Anna or Elsa dolls, or baby Sven. There were perhaps 50 people lined up in front of the entrance before the store opened at 10 am. I also got a second pre-ordered Anna from another local store today. I will take detailed photos of all my dolls, boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed.

Belle is in her pink and red winter outfit. She has a dark red velvet cape with white fur trim, which is secured with a red ribbon tied in the front. Her pink satin dress skirt has a center light pink panel in the skirt with dark pink glitter roses which don't shed. Her dark brown hair is stiffened in the ends to keep its curl, which looks messy in the box pose. I tried to make it as even and neat as I could after deboxing her, but it still has a Medusa look. She is wearing dark pink flats, which match the color of her skirt.
I just bought the newly released 12 inch singing dolls from my local Disney Store. They are not yet available online. They had Aurora (as Briar Rose), Belle (in her Winter outfit) and Anna (in her Coronation outfit). They are $19.95 each, and have the same packaging as the Ariel, Cinderella, Elsa, Jasmine and Moana singing dolls released in 2018. They sing for about 15 seconds when you twist their left hand (to your right as you face them). Aurora sings 'Once Upon a Dream' acapella, Belle sings 'Something There' acapella and Anna sings 'Love Is an Open Door' with musical accompaniment.
Moana and her accessories have been fully deboxed, and are free standing.
Here are detailed photos of my Disney Store Limited Edition Moana 17 inch doll, boxed and deboxed. She is #1531 of 6500. I also got a spare Moana that I will leave mint in box, but I haven't looked to see what edition number that doll has.
She has mock sand on her feet, and there is also sand on the base for Pua. Somewhat like glitter, the sand does shed, and found its way on the sides of the box, and on the doll itself. Some of the sand on the tips of her toes also got rubbed off.
Moana has a unique body, but is fully articulated. She has ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Instead of the chest joint that are on most of the female Disney Store 17 inch LE dolls, Moana has a waist pivot joint that allows her upper torso to spin around 360 degrees. This is similar to the Designer Princess waist joint, but is lower down her back, just above her butt. That is doubtless due to her bare midriff. With large her flat feet, Moana can free stand very stably. But I think that some of her joints are a little too loose, especially her waist joint.
Her body proportions are also unique for a Disney LE doll, but that is due to those of the animated character herself. In particular, her arms and legs are thicker than the other LE Princess dolls. Rather than the flat hands of the other LE Princess dolls, Moana has curved hands, which I think look more natural. Her face is very pretty and a very good likeness of the animated character. She has thick eyebrows, big brown eyes glancing to her upper right. She has short painted eyelashes, but no rooted eyelashes (like the LE Merida dolls). She has a large flat nose, and full dark brown lips in a closed mouth smile.
She has dark brown wavy hair that has a lot of hair product, so it feels a bit crunchy. Some of her hair was actually stuck to the plastic support, her body and her clothes, due to the hair product not being fully dry when she was assembled. There was also some bits of tissue paper stuck to her hair.
She has a garland of cloth leaves and plastic flowers on her head, It is permanently attached to her head. There are plastic leafy bands around her left arm and both ankles. The arm band was rather loose, and I had to keep on moving it back up her arm. I think it could use a rubber band to keep it tight, which I don't think I accidently cut when deboxing her. Her ankle bands did have rubber bands around them. She has a beaded plastic necklace with a shell pendant that opens. I removed the large rubber band around her upper chest and the plastic support that kept the pendent attached to her top. But I left the rubber bands that kept the upper part of the necklace in place. She has an short satin orange top with white beaded decoration. There is a matching belt or sash around her hips, over her skirt. Her skirt has two woven layers, with a straw underskirt.
Pua is very stable on the sand dune base (and there are indentations in the base to show where to place him). Hei Hei can free stand on Pua's head, but you have to place him very carefully, using the indentations on Pua's head as a guide. He can also be made secure by a rubberband around Pua's head and over Hei Hei's feet.
Moana's oar is placed on her left side in the box, but the way the handle is formed on the oar, it fits most easily on her right hand (to our left when she faces us).
Several Disney Designer Collection Premiere Series items were released online in the US ShopDisney site this morning (Monday September 17, 2018). They were not previously announced by the Disney Store. They include two LE 4800 pin sets (with three Princess pins in each set), an LE 3100 ornament set (with all six Princesses), and a notecard set, with all six princesses. As of 6 pm PDT, both pin sets and the ornament set are sold out online. By 8 pm PDT the Notecard set was also sold out online.
Note: For some reason, there is no image of the Cinderella notecard or envelope in the stock images.

I just received the Anna Couture de Force Figure from the Disney Store. She is $69.95, $5 less expensive than the Elsa figure. She was actually shipped by Enesco, the manufacturer. She is an 8 inch high resin figure of Anna in her black and green Coronation outfit. She is holding a pink fan in one hand and holding up her skirt in the other. It recalls the scene of her singing the ''sophisticated grace'' part of ''For the First Time in Forever.'' She is a very pretty figure, with lots of details that are true of the movie character. There is gold glitter on the fan, which does shed. There are two minor but noticeable defects in the figure. One is that the gold glitter is applied unevenly on the front of the fan. The other is that there is a small gash in her left shoulder (to our right), that also cuts into the strap of her gown. Other than that, the details and painting are very nicely down. She is very sturdy free standing, and is considerably heavier than the companion Elsa figure.
I photograph Anna from all angles, and also show her with the Elsa Couture de Force Figure. I like the rendering of Elsa's face better than Anna, and Elsa's transparent cape is amazing, and is unlike that of any other Elsa figure. But the Anna figure is matches with Elsa very well. Both of them are still available from the US Disney Store website.
Snow White with the inner box removed from the outer box.
Here are photos of Snow White's inner box taken out of the outer box. That way the doll can be displayed without the front flaps getting in the way or taking up display space. It slides out of the outer box smoothly, but it helps if two people do the job, especially if the inner box is a tight fit. One person holds the outer box steady while the other pulls the inner box out. The inner box is entirely enclosed, and is the same hexagonal shape as the outer box. There is even images of paparazzi on the sides and back of the inner box. The front of the inner box contains the clear plastic viewing window, and slides off easily off the back of the inner box. The Certificate of Authenticity in under the inner box, between the bottom of the inner front lid and the bottom of the back of the inner box. The display doll has a blank edition number on the CoA. There are packaging ties and tabs showing in the back of the inner box, but they are not too unsightly. With the viewing window taken off, the doll is in clear view. She is on a raised platform, with steps in front, covered in red velvet. Looking her accessory purse close up, I can finally see a large letter S in the middle of the ornate golden pattern. Also I noticed for the first time her upper lipstick pattern, which has U shaped indentation in the middle, with sharp corners, which I find a little strange.
I have measured the box for these dolls. It is 16.5'' H x 12'' W x 6'' D. That compares with the original Designer cases that were 15'' H x 7'' W x 7''D. The 2017 Designer cases were 15'' H x 9'' W x 9'' D. The regular 17'' LE Doll boxes are 19'' H x 11'' W x 6'' D. To put the box size in perspective, if you put the six dolls in this series in their boxes side by side, they take up six feet or 72 inches. If you put the 10 original Designer Princess dolls in their cases side by side, they take up 70 inches, or a couple of inches less than the six dolls of the Premiere Series.
If you wish to have the dolls visible, there is a problem because the front panels don't bend all the way back to the sides,so they either take up a lot of room to the sides and/or the front. If you want to remove the front panels, then they are attached to the outer box, so you have the find room to store the outer box, since it won't slide behind the inner box. So in effect there is a problem very similar to the slip cover problem that the original Designer dolls had.
