- in this painting, I have investigated ‘blue’ as a colour and an emotion. for me, the piece illustrates the feeling of loneliness, the notion of disconnection, isolation, even in a globalised world.
Was gonna do a mini black and white study of the redeemer today before i left for wrestling shoot. I ended up liking the color version of this shot. I was looking up with grace, humility and awe and a little sense of disconnection at the moment I clicked.

This life-sized work, equal in height to my grandmother, visualizes the fragility of neural connections and the slow unraveling of memory. Inspired by her cognitive decline, I used intertwining wires and ink-drawn neuron-like branches to represent both biological and emotional connections. The fading marks and fragmented lines mirror the disintegration of thought, while the tactile materials evoke the tension between presence and loss. The piece reflects on aging, memory, and the delicate architecture of human connection.

For my first year of college, the title of our brief was "Disconnect". My idea was to explore how different materials disconnect from each other, one of them being glue. On the left hand side of the page are some photos that I took of two pieces of cardboard where I added glue and just before it dried, I pulled the pieces apart. The first few attempts I noticed that the disconnection of the glue was hard to see so I added some paint to the glue, and this worked better. I used a macro lens to capture the detail. I am very happy with how the photos turned out. On the right, I used different coloured acrylic paint to recreate the photos.

A different view, unaltered hue. The environment was limiting, but the desk on which the sculpture was placed provides a sort of meta-scopic allusion to the abstraction of artist from natural world.
