CN Tempo RS18 3151 has arrived at Sarnia with a VIA train, complete with steam generator car, from Toronto in September 1984. Hoping for an F unit, looking back I'm glad this unit showed up.
So I was a bit disappointed with my placing last week and I hope I can step it up this week.
This week we had to recreate any bratz line ever created and I decided to do Bratz Rock Angelz. I used pieces that I thought would look similar to the Bratz Rock Angelz pieces and I think Molly really looks like she could be part of the line. For the set I wanted it to look as though Molly was performing on stage and I think I achieved that.
I hope you like it :)

I was disappointed that I was finding it difficult to get decent close-ups with my new camera but to my relief now I'm beginning to get the hang of it.

I wish you well in whatever way is most appropriate for you but cannot take on the extra work of writing it to you individually. Thank you for your good wishes and to those who have made me their contact. Due to long term health and eye problems I regret I can't take on any new contacts but nearly always manage to reply to your comments.
Power poles cut down in hopes of stealing copper wire from the power lines at launch pad one. Unfortunately for the scavengers, the lines are steel not more valuable copper.
Fortunately for the rest of us this power grid has been inactive since the late seventies. It is part of the massive electrical system with hundreds of such poles that once served the 3,450 acre Green River Launch Complex and Missile Base in Emery County, Utah.
The building just visible on the right of the frame is the wheeled launch preparation building shown in its ready for launch position.
The structures top center of the frame are thick steel barricades protecting cooling and telemetry systems from the launch blast.

Happy Telegraph Tuesday!

It was at this point she realized that you can't change your parents.....
Another shot of Emma.
Mostly daylight from the window, but a little fill in flash from my Nikon SB600 bouncing off the opposite wall.
Disappointed?
Sorry about that.
Please check our photostream regularly for something more spicy ... if you expect that
Back to Bombay Hook for sunrise this morning and wasn't disappointed. It was hot and humid and the bugs were bad but if you can get beyond all that, you can usually come home with a few good pictures.
VIEW LARGE.....it's worth the extra click.
A pride of six lions (two males, two lionesses and two young ones), that just had killed a Maasai cow not that far from our camp in Masai Mara five months ago.
We watched as the Maasais came to pick up their valuable cow to use the meat.
And we were told that the Masaais had scared and yelled at the lions, who now hid disapponted, hungry and ashamed in the forest.
Check out more photos of them in the links below the line!

Last year I remember being disappointed as I wanted Adele to be a W Club Exclusive for 2016 due to the fact that she was not part of the mainline Fashion Royalty collection. It was Veronique who took the spot and actually showed up three times. Not that I don’t like Vero, I actually do, but Adele really needed a moment in the spotlight. One because she needed to redeem herself after years of being ho hum and lackluster. Also being the original Fashion Royalty muse she has never been, or any black character for that matter, a W Club Exclusive. As it turns out it was all about timing. This year, Jessy Ayala being the featured designer, was the perfect timing for Integrity Toys to whip out something as massive as this. This is something fresh, something new, there’s a touch of glamour with an edgy twist, this is innovative, and this is high fashion. These are just some of the things to expect with Jessy’s work and he totally brought the house down on this one.
What I’m most impressed about this is that Integrity Toys really listens to the fans and they bring them in as part of the creative team. What came out as a topic of conversation at the W Club Forum and an idea coming from its enthusiastic fans was turned into reality. In this set, much like the Sweet Dreams Nadja Rhymes gift set, we are seeing the new version of the Quickswitch head system. Instead of pulling out the head from the neck, in this iteration we switch the heads via the bust joint which is smart as it prevents ruining heads with flocked hair.
The Faces of Adele Gift Set comes with all three of Adele’s face sculpt. The original Adele 1.0 is channeling The Muse with flocked hair and a new face design only this time she is in the A-Tone skin tone like Frosted Glamour Adele. Now I would have loved if she was the blonde instead as that has never been done before with Adele. This original Adele sculpt is probably my least favorite only because it doesn’t fit in with FR’s current aesthetic but nonetheless a vital addition to this Adele tribute.
For 2.0, instead of Adele being Naomi she is more of a Beyonce this time. I don’t mind that at all but I would have loved if she had dark hair only because last year’s Glamazon Adele, although beautiful, wasn’t side glancing. To me Adele isn’t perfect not unless she’s giving the side eye, the squint, the smize, the come-hither look. If you look at the promo shots of this gift set featuring Adele 2.0 you’ll see what I mean. She is serving face hunty! Her expression is what draws me in to her and this is why 2.0 is my most favorite. She’s like Sweet Dreams Nadja’s big sister on this one who is equally just as stunning.
For Adele 3.0 she has the 2016 face design which was used for the one-of-a-kind Obsession Adele from the Supermodel Convention. I’m speculating that they’re using this face design because they’ve never used it for mass production before. But my other speculation is that this was the Adele that was supposed to go in production but didn’t make it on time for the mainline FR collection in 2016’s A Delicate Bloom along with two other characters as stated by the IT designers from the W Club Luncheon at the Fashion Fairytale Convention. It wasn’t that they didn’t think of diversity in the collection but it was because of production issues that they had to deal with at the factory in China. Now, while this is a new face design for 3.0, this isn’t my favorite. I would have loved if they used the Main Attitude/Main Event face design instead which I thought was perfection. No other face design for 3.0 has really come close to that. An issue that I have with this set is that 3.0 comes with a NU.Face bust while the other two heads have the FR bust. Sure variety is probably what they were thinking about but for me I am all about uniformity when it comes to the characters. All FR characters should be on a FR body and all NF characters should be on a NF body. I guess it’s my OCD.
Now this gift set comes with many firsts. Aside from the interchangeable heads, this set is debuting the Museum Podium Doll Stand so you can display the doll and the busts next to her. Also a first are the blushed nipples of the breasts which at this point I don’t know what to think of. I’ve never seen an Integrity Toys doll with those features. So we’ll see how they look once the set ships next Spring/Summer.
While based on the promo pics I’m only most crazy about Adele 2.0 and while I think this set isn’t perfection to a ‘T’, I can’t deny the fact that this is such an amazing set and I could not be happier. I don’t even think amazing is the right word to describe it. This is beyond amazing. What a way to pay tribute to the original top model that is Adele Makeda!? Truly a dream come true!
Poor bugger, really thought he was the one! The one to finally earn a full body arms legs and all...
...Reality TORSO big a hole in his psyche that he may never trust again XD

During a past trip to Masai Mara we met the Sand River pride of Lions who had brought down two buffalos and were well fed and sleeping nearby not offering much of a photo opportunity was offered.
Not to be disappointed as the vultures gave us some spectacular photos flying in for the feast. This sub-adult African White-backed Vulture (Gyps africanus) has her sights locked in to the exact spot where it was planning on landing right in the thick of the carcass where the rest of the vultures where already creating a scene fighting each other for the best piece.
Photographed in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.
Sadly disappointed to see no clouds to frame the towers on the horizon as the sun set - and suddenly, a plane taking off from OR Tambo International Airport heaves into view....

After we crossed the border into Alaska, my dad and I were a little disappointed that we hadn't seen any bigger animals during the day on our drive. (We saw tons of prairie dogs.) Then around one bend in the road we saw this young lady casually eating on the side of the road. Of course we had to pull over and become "Looky Loo's". We pulled out our cameras and started snapping up pictures. She pretty much ignored us and kept on eating. This was my first try with my long lens off the ferry with larger animals and I'm really loving it. I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring.
A rather disappointed Stormy today. He'd been selected for a rope training course on the cliffs. He woke up very excited and grabbed all his gear only to discover the weather had closed in and it was way too wet and windy to go anywhere near the rocks. Hopefully the weather will clear soon and he'll get out there soon.....
I came home very disappointed last year after only seeing two or three clouds over the four days I was shooting in the Sierras. This year, I was not expecting much better as most of the Summer storms don't move in until July or August. So was was shocked when I looked at the forecast and saw a 90 percent chance of rain over two days up in Tahoe during the last week of June. The thing that made this particular storm even more remarkable was that it wasn't a monsoonal storm with thunderclouds blowing up from Arizona. This was a very late cold front which had drifted down from the Gulf of Alaska which was something more typical for February than the first full week of Summer. In fact, I think they set a new record for rainfall over the two days I was shooting in Tahoe. So I was thrilled about the clouds this year....right up until the storm parked itself over the lake and refused to move. The sunlight that you see in this shot is literally the ONLY sun I saw over the two days that I was there, and I finally gave up and set off for San Francisco shortly after taking this shot. I had to admit that I felt like an idiot up there waiting around in the pouring rain. When I pulled the car around and parked for this shot, there was only one other photographer who was crazy enough to be there at that hour and both of us shot like maniacs for 5 minutes before the sun disappeared again. After something like four hours of sitting in the rain above Emerald Bay over two days, I was very grateful for this little patch of sunlight.
