I wanted to capture this sun burst for quite a time. But mother nature always disappointed me. After more than 10 trips finally I was able to capture it. Hope you all liked it. If you have taken similar shots then please share with me.

bit disappointed with the focus but I had about 3 minutes with no tripod to have two attempts at this as the party of people I was with wanted to move on but I like it anyway so I'll forgive myself. the effect comes from the light flashing and turning.

Feeling both of these, disappointed because the event I was going to photograph in this barbershop today was cancelled, and relieved because yesterday evening I had a little chainsaw accident and nicked one of my fingers. It really isn't bad, all the same I am glad I can stay home and take it easy.
I do not know what this cute dog was thinking but it might be "you said walkies not brewskies.

I was disappointed that the day I got to visit Dartmoor National Park in Devon, UK was filled with mist and low visibility. But actually, the mist only accentuated the magical bleakness of the landscape.

And there goes the annuals 😞. One of the many challenges of gardening in the north is the unpredictable drop in spring temperatures. We are zone 2 for planting so that offers challenges in itself but also spring weather that can go from +24 c to 0 c overnight. The light snow cover is pretty at least.
As I was packing for vacation last week, Elsie thought she was going with us. I patiently explained to her that she wasn't, and even if she was, the suitcase, as comfy as it was, was not how I would have her traveling. She would have had a first class ticket.

As the winds whip and the snow blows I have been watching my backyard very diligently hoping the weather would blow something in. Well I was not disappointed! A first in my backyard, a small group of redpolls were eating at my feeders, and then sheltering themselves in my cedars. :)

Disappointed that I wasn't making a grab for Roger Rabbit (that's Roger's foot under Jasper's chin) Jasper looks to his female human for support, and more importantly, play.
Sunday...this was taken Friday when temps were on the rise. I worked today handing out gear for the cold and some hot soup and drinks. Can you imagine your loved one sleeping in those temps....we called 911 for 2 such people today. I was dressed and could only handle 1hr in the cold and wind....9,000 homeless in Toronto. (that is only what we know of) Definatly need to do better so street people can stay in shelter and feel secure rather then threatened....😥
For some years I have wanted to visit Skomer to witness the Spring gathering of Atlantic Puffins and other seabirds and last week I finally made the trip and was not disappointed.
There were over 22,000 puffins this year and I could not believe how close we were able to get to them - touching distance.
I am still editing the vast number of photos I took and will post more of them in the next few weeks.

I had a very early morning meeting, the advantage of which is that I saw the sun come up -- albeit briefly. Another day to breath; now be thankful (cue Fairport Convention right about now): www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXNM0dpHMq4 Musical factoid, Richard Thompson, one of the founders of Fairport Convention, which many credit as the main influence for what we now call Folk Rock, is the only performer I have seen live five times. He has not once disappointed me in a performance. The opportunity in Toronto to see him in a small venue with about 100 people is perhaps the highlight of my life in terms of live music performances.... He played for almost three hours and we soaked up every little bit of it.

Disappointed heifers leave the pasture after discovering that there is really only dandelion and other herbs left to get, they go to the stable to eat some more hay and relax.

Sometimes when you go out in pursuit of certain species of birds you can often leave an area quite disappointed at times?
However, it's often the regulars in places you visit that can save the day. In this case, this lovely little Meadow Pipit popped up out of nowhere to ignite my flame and save the day....Thanks for looking
Popped to Langston Harbour to see the fabulous Sabine’s Gull. We were not disappointed with the bird putting on a very good show in the stunning winter morning light.
Disappointed with the provincial public health policies or lack there of, I decided to record one aspect of our health care system which will retain its beauty for a long time to come, namely the architecture of its fine hospitals. I took a Sunday walk along a stretch of the University Avenue where at least 5 major hospitals are located, depending on how you count them, and took some shots. This is No. 1 of the Hospital Walk Series. The Princess Margaret Hospital has been renamed The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in keeping with its function. Part of the University Health Network, it is affiliated with the University of Toronto and is now the largest cancer centre in Canada and one of the largest 5 in the world. The cancer centre has several new and modern looking extensions to the old building, but in my eyes this one built in 1915 is the most appealing. Photo best viewed in large.
Westport beach at Easter weekend a warm but very hazy day. Surfer walks out of the sea feeling a little disappointed.
