This piece of work charmed me to bits! I was enchanted with its vintage goodness...until I discovered the "Made in China" sticker on the bottom. Oh well. Delusions are nice sometimes.
Bill Barilko disappeared that summer
He was on a fishing trip
The last goal he ever scored won the Leafs the Cup
They didn't win another 'till 1962,
The year he was discovered.
I stole this from a hockey card I keep tucked up under
My fifty mission cap
I worked it in, I worked it in to look like that
It's my fifty mission cap.

Gonzorama MK3 pinhole camera
35mm polaroid 100 film expired 2001
In Pinhole Pip style timing. This shot was the time it took to demolish five chicken and spring onion dumplings.
The view over the wall behind the old cattle market managers offices, with the abetoir off in the distance. This wasteland will one day be festooned with more new houses and shops. Where will all the people come from to fill them?

The view in front of the old cattle market offices . . . . looking straight up along Bath Street, with the houses running along Craven Road in view.
Disappear
There's a pain that sleeps inside
It sleeps with just one eye
And awakens... The moment that you leave
Though I try to look away
The pain it still remains
Only leaving when you're next to me
Do you know that everytime you're near
Everybody else seems far away?
So can you come and make them disappear?
Make them disappear and we can stay
So I stand and look around
Distracted by the sounds
Of everyone and everything I see
And I search through every face
Without a single trace, of the person
The person that I need
Do you know that everytime you're near
Everybody else seems far away?
So can you come and make them disappear?
Make them disappear and we can stay
Can you make them disappear?
Make them disappear
There's a pain that sleeps inside
Sleeps with just one eye
And awakens the moment that you're near
And I search through every face
Without a single trace, of the person
The person that I need
Do you know that everytime you're near
Everybody else seems far away?
So can you come and make them disappear?
Make them disappear and we can stay
I have seen this barn for years and watched it get old and yesterday driving by I thought I would stop and take a few pictures because it doesn't look like it is going to be around much longer.
Winter is coming, time to put away the summer track toys and bust out the winter beaters...that is, if you have a winter beater.
Technical note: poorly panned, but I liked the effect the tall grass gives this
On a side note, thankyou Todd Mielke and Mark Richard for helping to save the track! Cars and drivers like this travel from Seattle and Canada to enjoy one of the best road courses in the region, even before the track is open for spectators and major events, minor events like track days, drags, and driver's schools are bringing in revenue.
The 9 disappeared villagers from El Santa are brought to the cemetary by relatives, 19 years after their abduction and execution by members of Grupo Colina death squad. A mass grave containing their remains was found earlier this year.

Am I here or am I there
Or am I playing on the stairs
Am I in my room with my toys
I am the disappearing boy

what i did to this? added the strips, cleaned out the noise, over-sharpened and then took out the color. that's it. oh and i added a white gradient coming in from the right side. hmm, i seem to be making a habit out of posting black and white pictures. i dig it.
