Took this a couple of weeks ago with the Fence Friday theme in mind - I really like the lines, the perspective which takes you towards the silhouette of the trees and hedge in the distance.
It's called calm and it cost me many storms.
Calm is called and when it disappears…. I go out again to search for him.
It's called calm and it teaches me to breathe, to think, and to rethink.
It is called calm and when madness tempts it, wild winds are unleashed that are difficult to control.
It is called calm and it comes with the years when the ambition of youth, the loose tongue and the cold belly give way to more silences and more wisdom.
It is called calm when you learn to love well, when selfishness gives way to giving and nonconformity fades to open your heart and soul, giving yourself whole to whoever wants to receive and give.
Calm is called when the friendship is so sincere that all the masks fall and everything can be counted.
It's called calm and the world evades it, ignores it, inventing wars that no one will ever win.
Calm is called when silence is enjoyed, when the noises are not just music and madness but the wind, birds, good company or the noise of the sea.
It is called calm and with nothing you pay, there is no coin of any color that can cover its value when it comes true.
It is called calm and it cost me many storms and I would go through them a thousand times more until I found it again.
It's called calm, I enjoy it, I respect it and I don't want to let go ...

Been waiting for mist to take a shot of one of my favorite piers down in Leith.
Normally there are quite a lot of distractions in this shot so pleased with the effect the mist produced.
Not sure if I should crop this to remove the left hand post and centre the pier so any feedback appreciated.
Left it in colour as like the seaweed but mono would be OK to I reckon

Sing to me of the country that flashed like a bloody comet, and disappeared in the maelstrom of time.
As our town grows, more and more farmland is disappearing to urban development. This abandoned barn will soon to gone.
I had an early start on Sunday and meet with fellow togs Andy & Pete to capture the sunrise at the Old Mill at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire. The conditions were far from perfect with no clouds, the water was a bit low and a cold easterly breeze blowing but we were greeted with some pre-sunrise glow in the sky which soon disappeared!
For those that are interested the Old Mill was built around 1730. The mill was derelict in 1934 but by 1939 it had been converted to residential accommodation and hence my title for the image!

My view of what is happening to many of the farms that were in the family for generations...slowly disappearing, fading away.
Just after this photo was taken some of these mini chocolate buttons just disappeared. I wonder where they went :D
Some very heavy early morning fog in Pennsylvania. I felt as though I could have walked into this scene and disappeared.

Time-transience has disappeared
, infinity has closed the ring,
and everything under the Sun is invariably
in a beautiful joyful country:
I am just a molecule of the Universe,
and the whole Universe is in me...
I am a drop in the sea—ocean,
in a salty splashing wave,
a star that disappeared in the fog...
And a drop of the rainbow is in me...There the key rang transparent, mountainous,
the waves were bright, azure,
the heavenly harp sounds full,
deep, inner peace...
The sea breeze filled the heart!
In the whole wide-open universe
there is only a sea breeze,
only a sea breeze....
is slowly disappearing. I went back to the same falls as the weather forecast for the coming week is pretty mild, which will result in melting ice. Might as well get some in before it's too late.

"All this way to connect
And all the way to the corner everyday
You were there for me
But will you wait for the one that disappear?
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I was home when you came
It threw me out of touch
It took away from the cold of your arms
Now I wait for my turn to let it blow
Against me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah"
Will you wait for the one that disappears?
