Start of a series I'm going to be doing.
Not sure exactly how it's going to go yet, but it's going to be inspired by travel and involve this map. :)
I had suuuch a wonderful day. Spent the whole time with my mom out and about and I got this glorious map, a fantabulous sweater, and decided on a hair style/dye that I'm gonna do for my trip! Oh, lifee. c:

Teeming it down with rain at this point. Shooting in this direction was the only way you could keep rain off the lens.
Pixelda had a go at taking one pointing in the same direction but slightly further back to get the harbour bench in www.flickr.com/photos/pixelda/2550903622/in/set-721576054... and I think his composition works well.
Altogether a disappointing evening with regard to the weather but a cracking evening being able to talk to someone with similar interests who doesn't immediately fall to sleep when I start talking shutter speed times and focal lengths.
