This Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) used a channel marker on the Intracoastal Canal as a tabletop for its fresh 'catch of the day.' The head is missing so there's no telling which species is on the menu.

Red Rose Dinner, seen along the way on Rt 6 in a small town of Towanda, Pennsylvania. Established 1927, it was changing owners or I would have stayed for a bite to eat.
My niece and I were sitting in a park on the Maumee Bay eating gas station fish and chips when a big bird made a screech as it flew by. It turned out to be a young Bald Eagle, just getting it's adult colors, and it landed on that branch to eat its own fish dinner. This is cropped a good bit, but it was sure fun to have this happen.
