Depression comes and goes. There are many ways to address it. For me I have to get busy and do something new.
Today I made Russian kotleta following a friend's inspiring description. A recipe book had something I could easily attempt.
I even set the table with a clean cloth and put my Tsingtao beer into a glass I keep for best.
You can also see some calligraphy here that I framed this afternoon. It's "shi" or 'double happy' which is how I'm beginning to feel again.
Chips are kumara and white potato. The mushrooms cooked in homemade yogurt.

One of the most fascinating creatures on earth. Of the 2500 or so identified varieties, they range from the Box Jellyfish, with the most deadly venom known to date, to the Mediterranean T. dohrnii, Laodicea undulata and the Aurelia, that are immortal. If you are considering a PhD in marine biology, Jellies should be on your shortlist, as we really only know some 20% of the varieties, yet their population has increased multiple folds in the past few decades.
I was just trying to peacefully eat dinner last night, when a changing-colors-sky kept shining in the window and poking at my brain...Well, what could I do but get in the car and drive to a better view???..Lucky this little viewoint of the harbour is only a four minute drive away. KRUGER NATIONAL PARK is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,485 km2 in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 km from north to south and 65 km from east to west. The administrative headquarters are in Skukuza. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa's first national park in 1926. To the west and south of the Kruger National Park are the two South African provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. In the north is Zimbabwe, and to the east is Mozambique. It is now part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a peace park that links Kruger National Park with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.
