Dim sum dinner with Tomi, last Sunday . She was one of the first people who met this side of me 20 years ago. One time I was telling her I had a secret, and out of nowhere she said “are you a cross dressing accordion player?"

I was not expecting that at all!

So I responded “wow you’re right” and of course she said confused “oh! you do play the accordion?” As if the 2nd part was so unlikely…

And here we are 20+ years later enjoying a girls night out

literally translated means "Touches the Heart" loosely translated slang for "Eat to your Heart's content".

This weekend we finished eating the amazingly delicious Toronto Dim Sum and i thought about the meaning of the name itself. So in the tradition of Professor Trelawney's Divination class, i began meticulously arranging my tea leaves into the shape of a heart. My cousins Ben and Christina also joined in on the fun.

I misted a mirror over to take this shot.

I know it must have been done before....but I like the effect I created here.
