Twenty children and eight adults died, killed by a young man who shot his mother before the event and himself after it. The mother was a gun fanatic with a collection of guns she much prized but never showed to any of her friends. She trained her son to shoot, using guns from her collection. The son used the guns to kill all--his mother, himself, the 20 children and six other adults at the school where he shot them and himself. American law allows the possession of guns based on a misreading of the Second Ammendment to the Constitution. The National Rifle Association (NRA), which claims to protect the rights of Americans, fosters this "right to own guns" even as it makes money off of its political stance and from the gun industry. No one in the government, neither presidents, congress, or the Supreme Court has seriously attempted to change this situation. It is so incredible that in the state of Arizona, to use one example, one has the right to bring a gun to school or into a bar, even if you are drunk. WHEN WILL THIS END?

Update: this may seem a bit silly (but I honestly don't care). So, I had this crazy dream, like last week or so, and took Instagram off my phone and I was thinking, "Ok, it'll be like all my other "breaks" where I plop Instagram back on my phone in a day or so" But, that didn't end up happening, because by some divine intervention or whatever (I'm not that religious of a person, but eh), I decided to keep Instagram off my phone for the rest of April. (Notice: This update is being typed, a bit agreesively, but I'm not mad or anything like that currently, on April 1st (and no, its not some April Fools joke or prank) (Another Notice: April Fools Day always pissed me off for some reason, I guess because I took what people said on that day seriously and whenever they'd say, "April Fools" afterwards, I'd always look at them with the "Really Bitch" face. So, to anyone who shoots (or has shot) a follow my way and it hasn't been answered, I'm not ignoring you bro, I'm just endlessly scrolling through Tumblr (does anyone else do that by the way?) or rewatching Power Rangers Jungle Fury or Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix. And the follows'll get answered.

This is my 2nd digital art sketch I did. This one in particular was done for "I Must Be Dead Photography" Fav it if you like it please! :)
I actually did this digital painting a few weeks ago, but it seemed to sum up the spirit of the Challenge so well that I reworked it!
When we first adopted Amber, she had 'issues' with younger children - ie anybody younger than about 15! Being a rescue we had no idea why, and, although we were sure she was in no way aggressive, we had to be careful, especially in the house with our youngest daughter. Every walk, if we even passed kids on the other side of the street Amber would bark! Nowadays though she has no issues at all and happily greets anybody, large or small! In fact, if anything, she seems more protective and watchful over very young children!
I was so pleased when I managed to get this picture of my youngest daughter with Amber. My daughter thought Amber would never love her when we first got her so to see them so comfortable together now is just lovely!! This is what it's all about!
