abstract digital art, created from a blank canvas
I created the original "Impression" in 2001 as a gift for a friend. I promised that I would never print or sell another copy of the exact same image, although I would create variations of it. So, once in a while, I open up the file and create something quite different, but with similarities to my original image.
At the time I created this, I was using an old version of Photoshop that didn't have all the capabilities it has today.
When I first started to use Photoshop (1989) I taught myself to use it by experimenting with abstract designs, trying all the tools available. I can hardly believe it's been almost 30 years since I began using Photoshop.
(it's Dolce Vita by Dior). I got a mini sample of this scent for my birthday years ago, and I instantly fell in love. It smells like sunshine. It's the scent that I started my perfume collection with <3

People who care about animals tend to care about people. They don’t care about animals to the exclusion of people. Caring is not a finite resource and, even more than that, it’s like a muscle: the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets.
