The sculpt of the LEGO gnome was further refined with hair added and some pieces trimmed out so the head could also be tipped straight without any pieces colliding, and the LDD components have been added into the regular bricks and plates.
As with most models for LEGOLANDs and other attractions, we try to keep things as hollow as safely possible to avoid wasting brick (and exorbitant shipping costs!) This gift was no different.

Although the Beholder present in set 21348 is definitely nice, I wanted to create a version that was larger and that “fearful” and for this reason I wanted to make this version, at the time of its realization on the studio there are no pieces used in the set to make the eyes of the Beholder so I used alternative tiles for the small eyes (which you can also use) and instead for the big eye it will be used precisely that of the Beholder that is in the set 21348. I hope you like it too..

At VFS Digital Design, we teach agile project management practices throughout the entire year. And what better way to refresh everyone's recollection of the 9 knowledge areas (scope, time, cost, human resources, procurement, risk, quality, communication and integration) than with a game!
The students were divided into four teams and briefed on a project they had just "won”. Using index cards and post-it notes the students were asked to record the goals, objectives, work breakdown structure including time allotted for major tasks, resources, and the risks of their respective projects and post them on the wall.

The Love Chart was so popular that Inkbloom (www.ink-bloom.com) decided to create an entire collection of 18 different eye charts with different sayings including Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthday, graduation, etc. It's a limited edition so it won't be available for long.

Niflheim (or Niflheimr) ("Mist Home", the "Abode of Mist" or "Mist World"[citation needed], or probably world of the darkness according to the Oxford English Dictionary[1]) is one of the Nine Worlds and is a location in Norse mythology which sometimes overlaps with the notions of Niflhel and Hel. The name Niflheimr only appears in two extant sources: Gylfaginning and the much-debated Hrafnagaldr Óðins.
Niflheim was primarily a realm of primordial ice and cold, with the frozen rivers of Élivágar and the well of Hvergelmir, from which come all the rivers.[2] According to Gylfaginning, Niflheim was one of the two primordial realms, the other one being Muspelheim, the realm of fire. Between these two realms of cold and heat, creation began when its waters mixed with the heat of Muspelheim to form a "creating steam". Later, it became the abode of Hel, a goddess daughter of Loki, and the afterlife for her subjects, those who did not die a heroic or notable death.

July 2019 - Gnome model process
This is several hours into the digital design process for the #LEGO #gnome gift model. We use proprietary #brickbuilding software for our #legoland model creation and I had challenged myself on this particular model to design it completely digitally with no physical prototyping, which is what I expected of my @merlinmagicmaking LEGO design team.
I hadn’t decided yet at this point how pointy the ears would be coming out of the female gnome’s hair and you can see the options on either side of this draft.

Draw By Night #41 (Aug '15) - Simulator Sickness
What happens when you mix a roomful of artists, giant pieces of paper, and a crazy theme? If you’re Interactive Technologist and Instructor Christopher Quine, you turn those ingredients into Vancouver’s only bi-monthly drawing party. At Draw By Night, artists can work collaboratively on pieces, or by themselves on their own section. The only emphasis is on getting everyone drawing. Participants are encouraged to use Twitter or other social media to discuss the event and post pictures, allowing real-time engagement with the drawing community. They can also post ideas and comments that are often integrated into the next event.
