Depth
All pictures must have a foreground, middle ground and background
Not flat. There is a distance into the image.

the diagonal lines on this berg indicate that it wasn't always this way. It had flipped at some point as the waterline was different. may have happened when the chunk broke off. Near St. Anthony, Newfoundland.
