"Coal buns", the favourite food for lumberjacks and charcoal-burners in the old days. Wheat-flour (if available! If not, use rye-flour) and pork, a lot of fat pork!!

These were made (And eaten!) on a local festival "back home".

Experiment with a new 3d semi-fold. You use two triangle twists that kind of overlap and squash some 3D shape in them. You end up with a shape that resembles a bar. If anyone is interested in this fold, I will do some instructions.

I thought one of the old cantilever bridges leading to Birkenhead from Wallasey might make an interesting photo for today, and I took a few, but somehow I like this one best, of the staircase up to the ...erm... room above the bridge.
