Trucked to Lethbridge AB in Nov 2021 for restoration by the Time Air Historical Society. Was the DHC demonstrator and displayed at he 1967 Paris Air Salon, then leased to Midwest Airlines of Winnipeg between Jun - Nov that year. Delivered to Trans-East Airlines operating as Clark Aviation as N1370T in Jan 1970 and sold to Chartina in May 1971. Sold to Manex Services as CF-QHC in Oct 1978 and joined Time Air the following month. Sold to Northward Airlines in Apr 1973 and repossessed by the trustee upon their bankruptcy in Mar 1980. Bought by Kenn Borek Air in the Oct and a long career began. Summer leased to Air Shefferville in 1983, then Harbour Air every year between 1986 - 1995 except 1994. To Maldivian Air Taxi as 8Q-QHC in Nov 1995 and returned to KBA Jul 1997 - Jan 1998.and finally returned as C-GBPE in Sep 2009 and retired permanently by the following summer.

Launched at the 1948 London Motor Show as a Roadstrer as a show car, with public reaction encouraging William Lyons to put it in production for 1949. With the first customer car delivered to Clark Gable.
The first 242 were handbuilt with aluminium bodies and ash frames, but to meet demand the mass produced cars that followed had pressed steel bodies, but retained the aluminium doors, bonnet and boot lid.
