STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) twin engine cargo plane developed and built by De Havilland Canada. Originally built with Pratt and Whitney R2000 Twin Wasp engines, this is one of half a dozen Caribou reconfigured with PT6 turboprops (also made by Pratt and Whitney).

DHC-3 De Havilland Turbo Otter
This airplane was built in 1958 and delivered to its first operator, the United States Army in 1959. Back then it was just an Otter, delivered with a radial engine instead of the turboprop it currently has.
Our seaplane for the tour to see five glaciers in the Juneau ice field.
