After the World Cup Final ended, I went down to the Half and Half for lunch. I used to hang out at the Half and Half just about everyday and then stopped going there for quite awhile. I'm glad that I have rediscovered it and those deviled eggs are as good as I remember them being.
I had a Miller High Life, a devlied egg and some sort of a turkey/cucumber sandwich on wheat bread.
I came down to Russell House Tavern as I appreciated the fact that they were open until two in the morning, yet offered nicer food than found at a dive bar. This was necessary since I ended up taking a nap and waking up at eleven in the evening.
Anyway, I found Russell House Tavern to be decent but thought these deviled eggs were fantastic. In addition, the bartenders were very friendly and kind. The music was oddly terrible (Eminem, Nelly, etc.) and I found the place had an odd vibe. It felt like I could've been in an establishment in a strip mall. Overall, it was okay.
