I brought a parachute to a running club that took place in a local market near my volunteer house every Monday night. Seeing the children all work together and express so much enjoyment has shown me the beauty of community development. Empowering youth to be free and creative can inspire them to head into the direction of a brighter future.

Agribusiness Development Activity is aimed at the transformation from ineffective subsistence farming to commercial, profitable agribusiness through the disbursement of matching grants and the provision of technical and market information assistance. Grants are awarded through competition on the co-financing basis for the development of small value-adding enterprises, farm service centers, value chain and primary production in any region of Georgia. The project will help develop agribusiness and create new job opportunities.

It's the second time, that I took the picture of the field from exactly this perspective. Exactly 5 months later. In fact I'm doing a photo adventure focussing on the nature of the surrounding every month to document the development, which, I think, is pretty interesting.

With the development and realization of three new regional offices in Zwolle, Venlo and Maastricht, all designed by Atelier PRO, Enexis is entering a new era as a transmission system operator, in which the development of an intelligent electricity grid is concurrent with the construction of energy-neutral housing. The new regional offices respond to this emerging paradigm, as sustainable and comfortable headquarters for the company's installation, management and maintenance operations.

Last summer I wrote about about a new development near my house in Dallas called the Urban Reserve and design competition being held. The development consists of a 12-acre parcel where up-to 53 modern homes will be developed (53 seems like a stretch). I did find someone who is building on lot 11 who sketched his house using Google's 3D warehous.

I drive by the development each day as I head to 75. Today I looked over and realized that the first home was going up and decided to check it out. It looks promising, but I will let you decide.

Rous posted some details about the properties on LiveModern. He explained that the lots were being offered from $100K for 5,000 sq.ft. to $360K for 14,000 sq.ft. The lots are not very wide (all will be zero lot-line) wit some only 40' wide. The max house size is 8,000 sq.ft. The deal is simple: buy your lot from Urban Reserve, find an architect and then use the development company's builder (no competiton for builders). Total cost of homes will be from $500K to 1.3M. Chatherine Horsey from Urban Edge Developers argued with Rous and indicated that some lot+construction+architect would be under $250,000 all in - very affordable if true.
