Some of my favorite kickback smokes center around decent Virginia blends, either straight or as a Virginia Perique blend. Another all time favorite is black cavendish. These bullseyes have all three, with a great, mild, flavorful Va-Per blend wrapped around an uncased black cavendish center. I cellared a pound a year ago, and am trying it 13 months out. It has mellowed, and most of the rough edges found in fresh vapers is gone. The occasional hit of sweetness from the cavendish are both a surprise and a treat.
The first 2/3 of this bowl just gets better and better. Looking forward to the last third, excited to see how the flavors develope.
The moisture is perfect. No tongue bite so far, and I'm still on the first light. Careful tamping as the tobacco burns down seems to be a key to success.
Pipe: my birthday meerschaum from blackmeerchaum.com. It's around 8 months old and has become my favorite pipe. The pipe is aging beautifully, and hopefully I'll live long enough for the pipe to completely color to a rich chocolate brown. It is well on the way.
Tobacco: 1 year aged Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake. This is a delicious blend of unflavored black cavendish, Virginia, and perique. Aging it a year has mellowed it out, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it does at the 2 year point and beyond.
Activity: hanging out with my lady love and talking about her involvement as a member of the board of directors for a special needs adult service group. They participated in a big neuro-diversity conference yesterday and today. It is somewhat daunting to realize the scope and number of people in need of services. Not just the individuals but their families too.
The waste of a childs life holds an important message..young men develope phisically faster than their mentality...Modern times.

I may have gotten her name spelled wrong, but what's so unusall about that for me, eh?
Was just fooling around with high and low frequency retouching to deal with acne, teens are so good for that sort of thing, and I happened across this old shot. While the "commercial" plug-ins are pretty good for that sort of thing it's nice to develope skills that let a feller do the work with just what comes with Photoshop out of the box. So I had at it and danged if I'm not pleased with the results.
I love this kid's eyes.

Central Russian Air Force Museum at Monino outside Moscow on August 27, 2017. MiG Design Bureau Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29KVP Fulcrum "18 Blue" (cn 2960507687). The MiG-29KVP is a "proof of concept" version of the later Russian Navy MiG-29K variant, used to develope a supersonic carrier based fighter. It were converted from the seventh prototype izdeliye 9. 12 Fulcrum-A coded 918 Blue. The conversion was modest. I was fitted with a stronger undercarriage and reinforced tail equipped with an arrestor hook, but lacked folding wings and had no armament. First flight was on August 11, 1982. KVP means Korotkii Vzlet i Posadka or short take off and landing. "18 Blue" was withdrawn from use in 1992 after 265 test flights. It was later used as a ground instructional airframe at the Yuriy A. Gagarin Air Force Academy (also called the Zhukovski Engineering Academy), before being put on display at Monino.

I've seen some great sunrises before but this one will always be one of my favorites. It was hard to take the pictures because I just wanted to stand there and watch it develope. Thankfully for once the picture did truly capture the moment.

My beloved Olympus Trip35 on the dinner table. I had a roll of Neopan 400(A present from Hiro-san) ready to be developed, after shooting with the Trip35 and the closeup filter. I wonder how it will turn out? Being P&S, I have just guessed it's minimum focussing distance. But you all know already.....shooting film is about the anticipation. I am running rather low on the chemical stock, so I guess I will "stand develope" it. Lately my fixers are turning milky on me.....I better shot more. Come to think of it, the films are also rapidly expiring!

This is another b/w shot from Fuerteventuras rough seaside. Tried to develope it coloured, but I think I was too enthusiastic. You can find the coloured one in my stream as well. Which one do you prefer?
I've been carrying this baby with me almost everywhere these few days. I'm really excited but kinda nervous to let the roll develope, because it's my first one. So I don't know how many of the images will be useable. But...we will see haha.

Picture taken with a Minox IIIS miniature camera made in 1956; Ilford Delta 100 film bought cut to 9x11 format; develope in the proper Minox tank with HC110 and scanned with an Epson V800.
