I took this photo someplace in Colorado as a slide in 1974 while on a relocation drive from NY to CA where I was to be a postdoc at UC Berkeley. This is my wife with our daughter Deva and today is her birthday. I have been trying to rescue some of these old slides by taking photos of them and this happily is one of the best so far. She lives here in Maine with her husband Bob and dog Charlie. In addition to being a software developer she is a published author of young adult fiction and expects to have a new book published later this year or perhaps next year under her name Deva Fagan.
