Location: The Kurumbera Fort which is a medieval fort situated in Gaganeshwar village, southeast of Keshiari, at about four kilometers from that town. The fort has small quarters and temples. It is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.

Built-in 1438–1469 (written in Odia inscription) during the rule of Suryavamsa king of Odisha Gajapati Kapilendra Deva, it also has structures built during Aurangzeb's period by Mohammed Tahir (stone inscription). Despite being a protected monument under the ASI, there are no data available about this fort

Sunset, Mesquite Dunes, Death Valley National Park, CA. I think is one of the most photographed locations in DEVA, and it's tuff to get an original composition. Another old photo, from my first digital--a point and shoot Oly C740, I think. Good thing I've got this one in 6x7 too, because it's turned out to be one of my favs.

Chester owes its existence as a city and its plan to the Romans who established the legionary fortress of Deva in AD 76 in an advantageous position close to the Welsh mountains on a raised outcrop at the lowest bridging point on the River Dee.

Flysch es el nombre que recibe una formación de capas rocosas de origen sedimentario. En un flysch se alternan capas de rocas duras (calizas, pizarras o areniscas) con capas de materiales blandos (margas y arcillas) de modo que la erosión desgasta más fácilmente las capas blandas y deja expuestas las capas duras. Las capas duras, al quedar expuestas, son también erosionadas, al tiempo que dan algo de protección a las capas blandas. Se trata de un proceso de erosión diferencial y el resultado, a la vista, es como el de una tarta de milhojas.
