Love these little guys, but they sure are destructive. On a recent walks around the Chicopee and Connecticut Rivers' confluence I have found hundreds if not thousands of trees toppled. They are prolific dam builders, with impressive structures popping up seemingly overnight, but they also seem to topple trees far from the dams that are way to big to drag into their structures. I'm a fan of all living things and a "live and let live" kind of guy but I'm really tempted to a sit down talk with these guys and ask them where their heads are at. Why knock down so many trees? Please make me understand.

About my pictures:

Since 2014 I've been documenting the daily, destructive, poisonous chemtrail activity in the Dayton, Ohio area -- home of the notorious Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (visited by every important person on Earth, and even a few Aliens ;-) -- and apparently from my photo and video documentation, Chemtrail Central. This area has been getting chemtrailed on a massive, daily basis and is being conducted, as they say, “in plain sight”. I've got over 10,000 high-resolution pictures already uploaded and available for free on Flickr, with thousands more on the way:

I am designating all my chemtrail pictures uploaded to Flickr as CC0 (Creative Commons Zero), which removes my copyright and releases them into the Public Domain. They are archived on Flickr under "Chem Trailchaser". I hope by making these images widely available, it will accelerate interest, research, study and more documentation from all over the world. County town of Buckinghamshire, large and sprawling, with a destructive road system around which new brash buildings have arisen. We parked in a multistorey car park, on the third floor and travelled UP two floors to get out by walking over a bridge, through a huge recent shopping centre and out into a little oasis of streets in the old town where St Mary's church is sited, all on the same level as that fifth floor bridge.

Large and cruciform, mainly C13, grouped around a central tower with a picturesque recessed leaded clock stage with gothic open parapet and pinnacles, and short further recessed spire. The approach is to the south transept, the main entrance. Many trees make exteriors problematic. On entering there was a pervasive smell of coffee (although my friend got bacon!). The west end has a newish gallery and a dais with tables and chairs serving a cafe which is sited in the south-west corner of the south aisle and also fills the south porch. In this sea of pine boarding sits the Norman font; I was surprised that it didn't have a flat cover with "bar stools" around it. Olympic banners hang from the nave roof obstructing the view east, although the view was better from the gallery. Gorgeous west window by O'Connor. The north aisle has dome comfy armchairs and some medieval stalls ejected from elsewhere, and also a lovely baroque altar table among the clutter. The north transept has two good monuments, a cusped triangular recess with an alabaster knight, and a standing canopied monument with kneeling figures of mother and daughter complete with the original railings. Here too a Norman pillar piscina (not mentioned at all in the BofE) and a medieval cope chest. EE chancel, although east and south wall are entirely Victorian by the restorer Scott. There is an outer chapel east of the south transept (C14 with rich sedilia and a collection of memorials which seemed resited here) and an odd large square space to the west with a tall central wooden column supporting the roof. The inner south chapel has been converted into an office for a local charity which is based in the church, and has a stone screen filling the arch with a reset window.

I quite enjoyed my visit, if not the smell of stale coffee, apart from the awful staged cafe area at the west end and the poorly judged inclusion of the font here. However at least it was laid out as a church when I called, my friend recalled seeing badminton nets strewn across the nave on a previous visit. However it is obviously a well-used building, and an open one.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Technician Bethany Benedict contacts and works with state and local partners; and residents to survey and stop the spread of the spotted lanternfly, a destructive insect that feeds on a wide range of fruit, ornamental, and hardwood trees, including grapes, apples, walnut, and oak; a serious threat to the United States' agriculture and natural resources, seen here in Manheim, Pennsylvania, on August 29, 2018. The spotted lanternfly is a destructive insect that feeds on a wide range of fruit, ornamental, and hardwood trees, including grapes, apples, walnut, and oak; a serious threat to the United States' agriculture and natural resources. The pest damages plants as it sucks sap from branches, stems, and tree trunks. The repeated feedings leave the tree bark with dark scars. Spotted lanternfly also excretes a sticky fluid, which promotes mold growth and further weakens plants and puts our agriculture and forests at risk. Native to Asia, the spotted lanternfly has no natural enemies in North America. it's free to multiply and ravage orchards, vineyards, and wooded areas. The invasive insect was first detected in the United States in Pennsylvania in 2014, and has now spread to several states, by people who accidentally move infested material or items containing egg masses.

Most states are at risk of the pest. USDA and our state and local partners are working hard to stop the spread of this invasive pest, but we need your help. Look for signs of spotted lanternfly.

Inspect trucks for egg masses before leaving parking lots or work sites. Scrape off any egg masses you find into rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer. While parked, keep windows closed so hitchhiking nymphs and adults stay out. Make sure you also check other equipment being moved, like outdoor machinery, propane tanks, and shipping containers. If youâre a business owner, keep a close watch over your property. Park in areas away from the tree line. To capture nymphs and adults, you can wrap tree trunks with adhesive bands from May to August. You can also remove ailanthus trees, known as âThe Tree of Heaven.â These invasive weed trees are a favorite of spotted lanternflies. Most importantly, be vigilant to inspect both incoming and outgoing goods â and the containers and equipment that carry them â they could be carrying a hitching pest as well. In a quarantine area, you can get information on management controls at aphis.usda.gov/hungrypests/slf. If you do encounter spotted lanternfly eggs, nymphs, or adults outside of quarantined areas, report the sighting to your State Department of Agriculture. USDA Photo by Lance Cheung.

*Adult spotted lanternflies are approximately 1 inch long and one-half inch wide, and they have large and visually striking wings. Their forewings are light brown with black spots at the front and a speckled band at the rear. Their hind wings are scarlet with black spots at the front and white and black bars at the rear. Their abdomen is yellow with black bars. Nymphs in their early stages of development appear black with white spots and turn to a red phase before becoming adults. Egg masses are yellowish-brown in color, covered with a gray, waxy coating prior to hatching.

Find it, report it!

Contact your State Department of Agriculture or the Extension specialist near you to report signs of spotted lanternfly. If possible, take a picture or capture the insect in alcohol.

Stop the Spread

Everyone can play a role in stopping the spread of spotted lanternfly

Remove and Destroy

Crush nymph and adult spotted lanternflies. Scrape egg masses into hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol.

Our 6 month old puppy was very sneaky. He took one of the chickens belonging to a child's toy. Nobody noticed one was missing. Gladly he got bored before chewing it up completely. Now he is a big dog and wouldn't do anything like this again, but mostly because the game is now out of his reach. ; )

The Intacom programme is a series of projects based on the development of robotic inspection systems that is being led by TWI’s Advanced Non-destructive Testing Centre in Port Talbot, South Wales. The programme’s overall aim is to reduce the cost of inspection of complex geometry components for the aerospace industry. The first phases of the project delivered a prototype automated inspection cell using two 6-axis robot arms to inspect highly curved components in a fraction of the time usually taken by other automated NDT systems. It incorporated custom developed advanced ultrasonic testing technology to provide 3D imaging of parts that, in many cases, could not be inspected in any other way.

Towards a modeling of World Competitiveness Cluster…

Can one to imagine that our World, in its global, is able a day go out of the crisis, in which it gets stuck everyday a little more?

The world economical crisis, the persistent social conflicts and the destructive revolutions to the other boils world, that sow only disorder, hate and violence, associated to the incoherence of the strategies adopted by the political ones, drive me to write this ticket.

My different ones traverses studies and of professional experiences allowed me to understand that to any problem, it exists a solution to the minimum.

And if the problem persists, it is that the solutions were not correctly explored.

beautiful creature inside and out. no need to let you lay mangled and broken in the mud. i will take a piece of you home and hang your memory above my mantal.

Hurricane Sandy (also unofficially known as "Superstorm Sandy") was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, as well as the second-costliest hurricane in United States history. Classified as the eighteenth named storm, tenth hurricane and second major hurricane of the year, Sandy was a Category 3 storm at its peak intensity when it made landfall in Cuba.[1] While it was a Category 2 storm off the coast of the Northeastern United States, the storm became the largest Atlantic hurricane on record (as measured by diameter, with winds spanning 1,100 miles (1,800 km)).[2][3] Estimates as of March 2014 assess damage to have been over $68 billion (2013 USD), a total surpassed only by Hurricane Katrina.[4] At least 286 people were killed along the path of the storm in seven countries.[5]

Sandy developed from a tropical wave in the western Caribbean Sea on October 22, quickly strengthened, and was upgraded to Tropical Storm Sandy six hours later. Sandy moved slowly northward toward the Greater Antilles and gradually intensified. On October 24, Sandy became a hurricane, made landfall near Kingston, Jamaica, re-emerged a few hours later into the Caribbean Sea and strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane. On October 25, Sandy hit Cuba as a Category 3 hurricane, then weakened to a Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 26, Sandy moved through the Bahamas.[6] On October 27, Sandy briefly weakened to a tropical storm and then restrengthened to a Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 29, Sandy curved north-northwest and then[7] moved ashore near Brigantine, New Jersey, just to the northeast of Atlantic City, as a post-tropical cyclone with hurricane-force winds.[1][8]

In Jamaica, winds left 70% of residents without electricity, blew roofs off buildings, killed one, and caused about $100 million (2012 USD) in damage. Sandy's outer bands brought flooding to Haiti, killing at least 54, causing food shortages, and leaving about 200,000 homeless; the hurricane also caused two deaths in the Dominican Republic. In Puerto Rico, one man was swept away by a swollen river. In Cuba, there was extensive coastal flooding and wind damage inland, destroying some 15,000 homes, killing 11, and causing $2 billion (2012 USD) in damage. Sandy caused two deaths and damage estimated at $700 million (2012 USD) in The Bahamas. In Canada, two were killed in Ontario and an estimated $100 million (2012 CAD) in damage was caused throughout Ontario and Quebec.[9]

In the United States, Hurricane Sandy affected 24 states, including the entire eastern seaboard from Florida to Maine and west across the Appalachian Mountains to Michigan and Wisconsin, with particularly severe damage in New Jersey and New York. Its storm surge hit New York City on October 29, flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines and cutting power in and around the city.[10][11] Damage in the United States amounted to $65 billion (2013 USD).[12]

It is native to the Mediterranean area, but has spread invasively to many parts of the world, including Australasia and North and South America.

... In the United States, C. capitata has invaded four states (Hawaii, California, Texas and Florida), but has been eradicated from all but Hawaii. The medfly has been spotted in California as recently as mid September of 2009.[1] It has also been eradicated from New Zealand and Chile." Wikipedia

That's right, God will judge, lady. Not you. God.

(And as for "self-destructive," you might want to re-think your choice to spend weekend afternoons in the park spewing hate. You ain't getting any younger.)

Edited NASA/ESA image of the supernova remnant Puppis A.

Original caption: The destructive results of a mighty supernova explosion reveal themselves in a delicate blend of infrared and X-ray light, as seen in this image from NASAs Spitzer Space Telescope and Chandra X-Ray Observatory, and the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton.

The bubbly cloud is an irregular shock wave, generated by a supernova that would have been witnessed on Earth 3,700 years ago. The remnant itself, called Puppis A, is around 7,000 light-years away, and the shock wave is about 10 light-years across.

The pastel hues in this image reveal that the infrared and X-ray structures trace each other closely. Warm dust particles are responsible for most of the infrared light wavelengths, assigned red and green colors in this view. Material heated by the supernovas shock wave emits X-rays, which are colored blue. Regions where the infrared and X-ray emissions blend together take on brighter, more pastel tones.

The shock wave appears to light up as it slams into surrounding clouds of dust and gas that fill the interstellar space in this region.

From the infrared glow, astronomers have found a total quantity of dust in the region equal to about a quarter of the mass of our sun. Data collected from Spitzers infrared spectrograph reveal how the shock wave is breaking apart the fragile dust grains that fill the surrounding space.

Supernova explosions forge the heavy elements that can provide the raw material from which future generations of stars and planets will form. Studying how supernova remnants expand into the galaxy and interact with other material provides critical clues into our own origins.

Infrared data from Spitzers multiband imaging photometer (MIPS) at wavelengths of 24 and 70 microns are rendered in green and red. X-ray data from XMM-Newton spanning an energy range of 0.3 to 8 keV (kiloelectron volts) are shown in blue.

Destructive Leadership: The Aftermath of the Tempest

A healthy leader–follower relationship relies on trust, respect, competency, and commitment to the organization. A leader has the power to influence and shape the employee’s job experience and the organizational culture. Destructive leaders, however, abuse their power by using coercion to manipulate for personal gain, and employ fear as a motivator. The negative impacts of a leader’s destructive behaviors are detrimental and painful to the followers in an organization, and the long-term impact on corporate culture can be costly. Followers are pivotal to the success of good and bad leaders. In Dr. Martin’s study on the Millennial generation as followers, she found they were adversely affected by destructive leaders. Specifically, they felt devalued, participated in unethical behavior induced by fear, lost faith in the organization because it implicitly condoned leaders’ bad behaviors, or chose to retaliate against these leaders. Destructive leadership will perpetuate until followers and organizations stop enabling the destructive behaviors and take action by educating, training, and empowering the workforce to be active participants.

The Cloud, Aerosol, and Complex Terrain Interactions (CACTI) field campaign in the Sierras de Córdoba mountain range of north-central Argentina began in October 2018 and ended in April 2019. This region experiences some of the world’s largest and most destructive thunderstorms. CACTI’s goal is to help fill in knowledge gaps about how large regional convective storms form, grow, and organize.

However, this area isn’t special in that regard. The massive chemtrailing is going on across the USA (and other countries), as evidenced in abundance on FlickR and many other sites. This incredible not-so-secret Government program, which itself is expensive and dangerous, spoils not only blue skies, but poisons our air, water and soil to unknown levels. Regardless of the purpose, weather control/weather as a weapon/mind control, it really amounts to a crime against humanity in my opinion.

In the hours before the Hillville fire, burning south west of Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast, began its destructive path crossing the Pacific Highway east of Possum Brush and Rainbow Flat residents progressively received a series of text fire warning messages from RFS headquarters.

The destructive path of the fire saw a lot of properties burnt and a number of homes lost in the Possum Brush and Rainbow Flat areas and it ultimately burned all the way through Khappinghat National Park to Wallabi Point and Old Bar while also heading south to threaten Tallwoods Village and Diamond Beach.

In the days afterwards the fire formed a long front which stretched from the top of the Pulpit at Tallwoods west to Mt Talawahl.

Two 737 Jets bombed the top of Mt Talawahl with pink retardant in order to protect vital telecommunications infastructure but the fire burned around the base of Mt Talawahl through Pipeclay Creek Road and Candoomakh Creek Road just north of Nabiac where it seriously threatened a cousins property on Candoormakh Creek Road before heading over the ridge to Wrights Lane near Dyers Crossing. I heard sadly tonight, that the old ancestral home of my grandfather and great grandfather, Beau Vista, where my father was raised had burned down as the fire went through but I have yet to confirm the accuracy of that report.

The fire front also took a turn to the east into properties behind Failford at Greys Road where sadly another home was lost. Pushed along by strong southerly winds it now headed for the Bullocky Run and Highlands subdivisions where fortunately an intensive firefighting response overnight saved all of the homes as far as I know.

With the fire now just a few hundred metres short of linking up with the originating point of the Darrawank Fire of a few weeks previously, it burned along Failford Road and Bungwahl Creek into the southern end of Timbertops Estate where its eastward then northerly march led it directly to my brothers rural acrage boundary fence.

At this point the fire had got into tall trees and was a twenty metre high inferno as it headed north fanned by strong south easterly winds along the back of all the rural acreage properties on Laurina Drive at Timbertops Estate.

Most of these properties were cleared, including my brothers place and were horse paddocks so access was possible for the brigades to prevent the fire burning too far onto the back of the various properties as it came through.

Fortunately by the time the fire front began running through the dense forest along the back of the Laurina Drive properties there were four fire brigades on the scene as well as two big water bombing helicopters and two fixed wing float plane water bombers.

With my brothers property right in the path of the inferno, and in particular, his stables and large colourbond work shed, the water bombers did their job quickly and effectively, saving the two buildings from burning down by dropping dozens of loads of water on the advancing fire.

It was very fortunate that there was a large dam just 300 metres from the fire front and the helicopters made good use of it while the float planes flew to the Wallamba River not too far away to pick up their water.

A team of eight or so local volunteers, including myself, had also come to assist before the fire front arrived and we were able to help stop the spread of the spot fires across the dry grass as they travelled towards other properties to the north. We were also able to stop the fire burning across grass toward my brothers home. It was however fortunate that a brigade arrived to assist just as the volunteers were losing the battle with the rapidly spreading grass fire.

Without those volunteers and the brigades the fire may have burnt to the north to other properties and it could potentially have spotted on the eastern side of the Lakesway opening up a new fire front that could have threatened Homestead Estate.

Fortunately none of that happened and the fire was reduced to a watch and act basis by late that afternoon with a couple of brigades mopping up.
