The Last Kingdom is a British historical fiction television series based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories series of novels.
After seeing the new Destiny weapon designs that Atomic Bricks recently posted, I wanted to create a custom that would be able to use one of them. Of course, even with all the available weapons, I had to go with the Vex Mythoclast (one that I will probably never have in the game!).
This one was fairly quick and I wanted to keep it simple, so I decided to use printed torso/legs. This particular combination includes the colors I wanted and seems to fit the Voidwalker motif. The helmet is removable.

So here she is. I've been working on this figure for about three days now. I finished her yesterday, but wasn't able to upload it until tonight. She was inspired by this picture (downloads.bungie.net/images/artists_reference/Destiny_Tit...). I don't have any Destiny weapons, so I just gave her a BrickForge magnum. I sanded down the sides to give the figure more of a feminine look. All of the armor pieces were sculpted with a air-drying clay called Miliput. The helmet is a modified Starlord helmet, credit for that going to TopazBricks, thanks man! :) Also the picture was edited with Gimp 2. Thanks for looking!

So I bought Destiny (The Taken King) a week ago and I spend the last days playing it. Damn, what an awesome game.

Life size (or close to it) replica of a Ghost - your Ghost - from the game Destiny. It is as fragile as it looks! I figured out how to build the octahedral core from these builds by OptimalControl.
The core is lit up with a BrickLite.
My character in Destiny 2...a game I play with family members from SL. Been working on my season rank for last couple days. Season 20 ends in 7 days. I had taken time off pleying other things so neglected this game, but came up in rank from 45 t0 95 in less than a week. Should hit rank100 (top) and et over 1800 power today!

When I think of the quintessential Hunter Gunslinger class, this is the type of image that comes to my mind, so I wanted to try to translate that into physical form. I’m very pleased with the way this turned-out, so I wanted to share it here.
This isn’t going to turn into a Mega Bloks photo stream - there will continue to be Lego builds here, but you may see the occasional Mega Destiny build in the mix as well as I am a big fan of the game.

At this precise moment in time, a family member is laying on a hospital bed knowing there is not long left..
During times like these people get sad, people cry, people ask questions, people get angry..with me...it sort of stays inside..I dont bottle it up.. I just deal with quietly.
Its times like these that make you take a step back and think..
This family memeber... said words that I will never forget.. Ever. As she lay there on the bed she asked my mother..."why is this happening to me ?, I have never done nobody any harm. I have been nothing but kind."
Hearing my mum tell me those words.. really hit me.. I never get emotional at sad times.. I show it in the bucket loads during fun times..but sad times I hide it.. But at that moment,, It hit me.. and I cried.
How do you deal with knowing you are going to die..in days ?
It makes me wonder.. sometimes....what is the whole point of it all..
We all know that every single one of us has the same destiny.. we can not change that..
Whoever decided that this is the way is was to be....needs to re-think.. because this way is shit.
I wish I was I was in charge of all this.. I wouldn't know what to do, or the right way to make it all better.. but I know it should not have to be this way.
