Landmannalaugar is in the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the Highlands of Iceland. It is at the edge of Laugahraun lava field, which was formed in an eruption around the year 1477. It is well known for its natural geothermal hot springs and surrounding landscape.
Landmannalaugar is the northern end of the Laugavegur hiking trail and a popular destination for tourist traveling in Iceland.

Journey Beyond Rail's "Great Southern" luxury passenger train runs between Adelaide, SA and Brisbane, QLD, running through Western & Northern Victoria, then Southern & Northern NSW to reach its destination. The Great Southern utilises the consist from "The Ghan' and in turn only runs between the months of December & January of each year; as The Ghan doesn't operate due to the wet season in the Northern Territory. Due to trackwork in the Southern Highlands closing the track from Moss Vale into Sydney. The Great Southern was required to make a deviation off its normal route. Running via the Illawarra Mountain (Moss Vale - Unanderra Line), the South Coast Line and the Sydney Goods Line. Finally rejoining its original route at Chullora Junction. In this photo, it's near days end as the light quickly fades and we see the Great Southern descending the grade not long after passing through Robertson, along the Illawarra Mountain line, behind NR30 & NR31 running as train number 6KT8. Saturday, 14th January 2023.

The Gornergratbahn (GGB) is a 9 km long 1,000 mm gauge mountain rack railway, with Abt rack system. It leads from Zermatt, Switzerland (1,604 m/5,262 ft), up to the Gornergrat (3,089 m/10,135 ft).

Illinois Terminal heritage engine leads coal through tiny Elnora, Indiana on a winter day. This coal originated at Peabody Energy's Bear Run Mine near Dugger, IN, on INRD and utilized portions of INRD, ISRR and NS lines to reach its destination at the Alcoa mill in Yankeetown, Indiana, on the Ohio River.

After having explored the Barcelona’s Gothic District I ended up at Port Vell. During daytime and the evening Port Vell is a bustling waterfront area it is one of the city's most popular and vibrant destinations. Port Vell is situated at the southern end of La Rambla. Early in the morning the only people you’re seeing are people working out. Although I’ve explored the area ten and ten’s of times the light was so compelling that I could resist of taking a couple of shots.
