Ah, the romance of the rails! I had an opportunity to spend some time in Chicago's Union Station recently. Although photographing the grand marble Beaux Arts great hall is a photographer's delight, I also love finding those little details that tell the rest of the story...or at least the nitty-gritty of the story.

About Pinkenbah
Pinkenba is the name of a suburb in eastern Brisbane on the northern side of the Brisbane River. Despite being less than 10 kilometres from the Brisbane central business district, it has a largely rural feel to it. The area is spatially isolated from other residential suburbs and is surrounded by the Brisbane Airport to the north and west, and industrial land and the bank of the Brisbane River to the south. The suburb is accessed along Kingsford Smith Drive which passes an industrial area before reaching the suburb. Numerous development projects have been proposed for the area, including residential developments and an immigration detention centre, but nothing has ever come of it.
This photo was taken early 2010, On location at a model shoot. This was my first time at modeling but the location was great and close to the airport so there was constant planes coming and going. The clouds managed to leave a lovely pattern in this photo!

Since that babymoon to Sanya, Hainan Island two years ago, we have been talking about bringing Amanda to Sanya again!
Yes. Again. She was in my tummy her first time. :p
Last year, I bought 4 swimming floats online. In different sizes, colors, shapes and functions.
One came with shade.
Swim suits for me and Amanda. Hat. and Sunblock.
But the trip did not happen.
This year, I bought more swim suits for me and Amanda, more hats, more sunblocks, fit flops for the family and toys to play at the beach.
Lucky us, we are now finally at Sanya for Amanda's first beach holiday
Amanda is excited too!
I inflated her pink princess float at home the other day, and she was excited and wanted to walk and play around in it.
We are spending 4 nights in Sanya together Amanda's bobo gege and parents, she couldn't quite pronouce Zhuo.
While we are here working on our tans, swimming and playing by the pool and beach, we are also be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary today.

It was fun and some wonderful costumes for the contest.
NKP 2-8-4 arrives into New Haven after the excursion is over. The train will drop off its passengers east of the overpass and then wye at Piqua to prepare for the next excursion on Sunday. Meanwhile, the heat and humidity that day produced a series of storms that will bring heavy rain to the area.

This photo I took in woden bus interchange. When I took the photo there, it was really late, but still have few people waiting there for the right but take them home or the right destination.
