I hadn't done one of those in a while. It's getting simpler now, a custom-built box (running linux (kubuntu), a small HP file server, 2 monitors, a couple of UPSs, network printer, external backup... voilà

Nothing special but just for fun. We were celebrating Chinese New Year and I played Superman Batman Public Enemies to them on the computer. The kids seemed to like the desktop trippy colours.

Update: So this doesn't look like just a wallpaper I have added some of my windows to show transparency. Also started to use Enigma. I like to keep it very minimal and I think that this shows a very nice clean slick look.

Sehr cool, inzwischen ersetzt mir das Teil nahezu komplett den PC.

i was trying to tether my dads blackberry to my laptop to get internet access anywhere, but i had to switch sim cards with him since i have... cheap $5 tzone internet (didnt work)

and then i realized wtf am i doing and was like.. well obviously i only have virtual workspace vs. no real physical workspace

p.s. - yes someone shot the desktop lcd, it was my mouse, it was being bad

I did a series of macro pictures of colored sugar (sprinkles). This was the last, when I piled it all up. Cropped to 16x9 for use as a desktop background.

My new desktop. I love GeekTools.

I should really start using a different desktop picture. It's been the same on all computers (except the Newtons) since May 2005.

This was actually the first pic i took. Note that Asmo sent me plenty of .4 mm lead (you can't buy it here in the states) and lots of refill erasers. They actually last a pretty long time, but its nice to have a really good supply.

That's pretty much what the front yard looks like, too.

All of those commercial games work. I didn't make a shortcut for World of Goo or Team Fortress 2, but they're on here as well.

And yes that's Torchlight, running beautifully.
