An Illustrator illustration that I did. part of a larger series of works that I ended up drawing onto canvases. It makes a pretty desktop pictures as well. Supposed to be like a contour line drawing, that was the sort of technique I used to create the image. I suppose I could get a bigger version of this up here... so you can use it as a desktop.
My current desktop - photo taken by me with a Sony DSC-V1 camera in my hometown of Salvador. Pictured here is the Elevador Lacerda - a huge elevator system connecting Cidade Baixa - old town - to Cidade Alta - new(er) town.

I try and maintain a clean desktop which sometimes equates to moving everything off my desktop to a "Stuff" folder in my home directory.
Just finished this geektool desktop. Most of the scripts are standard, but I added a new one at the bottom that displays what happened on the current date in computer history. Here's the link to a blog post I made on it:
It was time to change wallpaper after a good year or two, tweak my GeekTool geeklets a bit, and change my Bowtie theme. Full size image available here.
Update: The wallpaper is from a Smashing Magazine article I read a few years ago, which I can't find again. I have uploaded the full-size wallpaper image I have here in case anyone wants it.
