Ken poses with a Coelophysis animatronic dinosaur at the Dinosaurs: Unextinct At The LA Zoo exhibit. Ken was ready to go as these dinosaurs made a lot of noise. Coelophysis made a sound like a parrot saying "Hello!"

As soon as she arrived, Tuddy demanded to go on adventure. And an adventure it was, involving falling down a mudbank (the human) and tumbling into a creek (Tuddy and the human). But all in all, we emerged un-rumpled and very pleased with ourselves.
Australian Pelican is one of the seven birds in the Coastal Bird series of Art toys.
These toys have been developed in collaboration with artist Rachel Arthur and are based on her illustrations. I'm pleased to add them to the Flying Star Toy world.

Dan and I went to Designer Con 2017 in Pasadena on Saturday.
I found these cute tiny figurines but can’t remember the booth they came from. The cloud figurine is one inch tall and the rain drop figurine is just over one inch tall.
This is a prototype of my Oberth Colonist figures incorporating one of several removable faceplates.....this one is called RGB and goes about whatever world it is on colouring the environment to it's liking.....
Cheery L and Hedgeston have met some new dinosaur friends: Jason theTriceratops and Brittany the Brachiosaurus.

Gordon and Chuck are drawing with vintage Tru-Tone crayons by Milton Bradley. These were given to me by my Dad along with some other art supplies and are probably from the 1950s.

I have childhood memories of watching MTV, which include MTV's 1984 airing of the 1953 film, Robot Monster. It made quite an impression on my young impressionable mind. Decades later, I pick up the cauldron piece from the LEGO DREAMZzz sets, only seeing it as half of a old diving helmet, and inspired to make the goofy Ro-Man villain from the movie with LEGO pieces. The Ro-Man costume was an ape-suit topped with a round helmet with a round viewport. The skull inside was only evident in the movie posters, but not in the reel-life movie costume.

Noko comes with a card that describes her:
If you squint carefully through the jeweled eyes of Noko you will be able to navigate through time and space. The revered astronomer ‘Thaler’ once used this creature to map the dark side of Jupiter and yesterday.
The Nightriders also come with a little owl figure, Noko’s is bright yellow.
I really like the design of this series and hope to find more of them.
