Today is Go Caroling Day. Baby Milo is playing Christmas songs on his guitar while Elfbert and Elfanso sing.
Day 355 of 366.
As soon as she arrived, Tuddy demanded to go on adventure. And an adventure it was, involving falling down a mudbank (the human) and tumbling into a creek (Tuddy and the human). But all in all, we emerged un-rumpled and very pleased with ourselves.
The Qees went to the park to see the new sculpture. They were appalled at the poor design and shoddy construction. They were also concerned about the odd little creatures climbing and playing on the sculpture. They decided to leave before the whole thing came crashing down.

Fancy some chicken? Meet Tucky! This wee cheerful chicken suit wearing chap is a custom for the Nanibird series by Josh McKible, who recently designed the MonkeyButts for the totem :)
So start hatching and grab your very own Tucky here
The monkeys have found the fries! The pink monkey was a pop eyes vending machine toy that Dan rescued. The eyes were missing so Dan found some googly eyes that fit in the eye sockets. Her name is Poppy. I added the googly eyes to the Wood Grain Monq Qee just for fun.

From Kidrobot Nightriders series by Nathan Jurevicius.
The description on the Kidrobot website:
“Nightriders are a particular breed of nocturnal bird spirits that wander between the supernatural world and earth-bound gods, communicating with the unseen.”
Amtity comes with a card that describes her:
This mystical creature spends much of her time in a dream-like state, contemplating the secrets of the universe. When awake, Amtity is often seen weaving shiny idea-threads that are given to receptive minds.
The Nightriders also come with a little owl figure, Amtity’s is pink.
I really like the design of this series so I found the ones I needed on eBay.
Gordon and Chuck are drawing with vintage Tru-Tone crayons by Milton Bradley. These were given to me by my Dad along with some other art supplies and are probably from the 1950s.
Day 124 of 366.
Gordon Monskey, Cheery-L Monskey, and Hedgeston Monskey pose by a drawing made by Dan's niece. She used 3D Sidewalk chalk that came with a pair of 3D glasses. The glasses made the red and blue chalk look like it was floating above the green chalk. The glasses also made the nasturtiums in our yard really pop out.

Ken poses with a Coelophysis animatronic dinosaur at the Dinosaurs: Unextinct At The LA Zoo exhibit. Ken was ready to go as these dinosaurs made a lot of noise. Coelophysis made a sound like a parrot saying "Hello!"
