Meet Freddie! This funky pink octoguy is a crazy new custom of Rodrigo del Papel by good mate Tougui.
For the Rodrigo del Papel show Tougui invited 20 international artists to come up with a custom. The show runs from March 30 to April 10 in Le Dune Cafe, 18 Avenue Claude Vellefaux 75010 Paris. So if you are in the neighbourhood be sure to stop by!

I really like the design of this series so I found the ones I needed on eBay.

Why, hello there! It's been some time hasn't it? Jabberwock here is the culmination of years'worth of sketches, digital art and mocs but this is the closest I've come to what I've been picturing in my head for quite some time.
The build itself started in late February. I've reached the conclusion that I'm at my best when I just slow down and take my time to design everything as thoroughly as I can, with many different iterations and test-builds before reaching a final design. This is why I'm only now able to post this lol.
The lower arms belong to the ever-fantastic Mittens (www.flickr.com/photos/97523162@N08). Her support and feedback throughout this was invaluable!

Citrine quartz crystal specimen in the Mineral and Gem Gallery at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Ken discovered that there was no glass coveing this specimen. There were some other crystal specimens displayed like this so you could touch them.

After I asked what he meant, Danbo told me he eat a little (just a little!) of the cute tiny mushrooms growing in the garden...

Yesterday Otto went for another walk in the forest (a favorite hobby of him it seems!) but this time Emma came along.
I found them sitting on this tree stump. They were having a little discussion on the way
back to the car... Otto said left, Emma was sure it was right!

Chungkee panda and Lucia monkey found an odd creature on their walk. Chungkee wants to take it home with them. Lucia is not sure that is a good idea.
