Animaux géants et planches pédagogiques: deux expositions sensibilisent le public aux grands enjeux climatiques sur le parvis de l’Hôtel de Ville, jusqu’au 4 janvier 2016.
"Denim" split toning of B/W macro image using ON1. Blue shadows and tan highlights. Close inspection for minute detail...(FYI…Removed blemish on left and warmed the toning in PS. Made a nice abstract print)
Bridges are always fun to photograph. They contain many design elements not only to themselves but to the environment they're built in - all of which make for inviting subject matter. Besides which, you just have to cross them!

a motorcycle hums through the lattice of a morning reflection. two riders suspended in motion, framed by pattern and chance — and in the background, someone walks on, unaware of the quiet geometry unfolding behind the glass.
Making of, one of the ideas, the inside of one sqaure would fullfill the requirements for size of 75 x 75 mm for Macro Mondays size restriction. Therefore the title.
Other then this, fine dark chocolodad, pralinees from a well know german brand, and not eaten. So close to food fotography, but not some extra calories , not yet eaten.

Curved stone staircase with decorative wrought iron railing in classic architecture, Budapest, Hungary
In architecture, a vault is a self-supporting arched form, usually of stone or brick, serving to cover a space with a ceiling or roof.
The ribs of a fan vault are of equal curvature and rotated at equal distances around a central (vertical) axis, forming the conoid shape which gives rise to the name.
The initiation and propagation of this design element and innovation is strongly associated with England - not seen in the churches of continental Europe. It developed in the 14th century as a shell form that was inserted into existing Norman or Romanesque structures as an alternative to the Gothic arch.
Bath Abbey is located in the English county of Somerset. There has been a place of Christian worship on this site for well over a thousand years.

CUT was built 1931 near end of American major railway transportation use. It combined 5 local depots into one for sake of efficiency. Met true capacity only in 1944. Ceased official operations 1972. Has been a museum for several decades. Amtrak 3x per week beginning 1991. Art Deco design is acknowledged to this day as best example of such railway architecture.
