(Not to be confused with the Mr. Run Away painting) This is a digital piece I did for a Runway Network CD compilation. The painting "Mr. Run Away" was inspired by this piece.
Sei lá quanto tempo não faço um desses. Joguei umas texturas, um texto e saiu isso! Bom pra quem tá séculos sem abrir o PS.
The Willoughby Design Barn started out as a small project. Ann Willoughby had in mind some kind of small building for storage and retreat, to complement her modest farmhouse in Weston, Missouri. After entertaining several ideas, Ann and Dan Maginn of el dorado architects visited a friend's farm for inspiration.
That's where she fell in love: with a real life, heavy-duty, partially dismantled barn frame, a century-old timber structure in the process of being dismantled to be sold to a builder on the East Coast. The barn frame went to Weston instead, and her project got to be not so small.
Together with el dorado, architects, Ann created the perfect sustainable solution for her barn. It respects the farm, the frame and the house. It is extremely flexible, as a good barn should be. Every year we use it for slightly different things, and every year the farm grows a little bit differently.

We had sat together looking at fabric swatches from some of my mail-order sources. After seeing the sketches, however, Seraphina didn't like any of them. We took a little field trip to Britex, a local fabric store.
She was much more comfortable being able to hold up larger pieces next to her skin. We also decided to reverse the original idea of the bodice colors: making the majority of the bodice the dark color (for a slimming effect), with only the center front panel in the cream of the skirt.
Abstract colour landscape symbolism. A revision of maxima with the original Southern Cross device rotated (in the Sky) to place a larger Alpha Crucis in the canton corner as a feature, while portraying a 'size/brightness' hierarchy down to Epsilon the smallest, with reference to earlier versions of the Australian flag.

FROM NEST TO SHELL (4th ed.), stone design for the city - in co-operation with Ottagono - art director Raffaello Galiotto
An investigation on the theme of urban stone furnishing involving designers, companies, and about ten cities. The involved municipal administrations will provide materials and information on an area within their City to investigate the relation between new design and an existing venue of historical/artistic interest characterized by the use of stone (a square, the area in front of a building, an avenue, a courtyard…). Half-way between the formal and conceptual experimentation typical of design and the public urban space, the event will be repeated on other occasions in different cities.

Designed when HEAT rounds seemed to have decreased the value of thick armour the Leopard depended more upon firepower (from the British 105 mm L7 used in the Centurion) and excellent cross-country mobility for its safety. Progressively modified over a lengthy service life it acquired more armour, more sophisticated systems and a great reputation. It was sold abroad to many European armies and beyond. Seen here during a post WWII main battle tank segment of the first Tiger Day of 2022 at the Tank Museum, Bovington Camp, Dorset, making good speed round the arena.
