In the 1940's hit song, A String of Pearls played by Glenn Miller's FABULOUS band, ( composed by Jerry Gray, lyrics by Eddie De Lange) the pearls referred to are a sort of stop gap gift to a lady awaiting a Wedding Ring!
"Every pearl's a star above'
Wrapped in dreams and filled with love,
That old string of pearls a-la Wool Worths!"
My pearls are NOT Woolworths, but they're not real either. They ARE, however filled with love and so, I placed them on a bed of pale, elegant sequins and shot with a shallow DOF to give them a dreamy look! Hope it works for you!! Love the pearls. Love the piece of music!!
