There are places with nothing special about them... but they can take to special moments.
Ry is a small town in Denmark's "lake district". By the lake there are small piers where people bath, where boats hang. When sunsets, it gets magical.
In Ry there's a pier with nothing special about it.

Ribe (Duits: Ripen) is een stad en voormalige gemeente in Denemarken. De stad geldt als oudste stad van Scandinavië. Tot 2007 was het de hoofdplaats van de gelijknamige provincie Ribe.
I found this red Danish post box on a house on Bispebjerg Torv, which is near the Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen.

The current depot in what is now Denmark, South Carolina was built around 1893 for the South Bound Railway, later part of the Seaboard Air Line. It still serves Amtrak's Silver Star nightly seven days a week while the tracks are owned by CSX Transportation. The address for the depot is 200 West Baruch Street, Denmark, SC 29042

I'm not sure what is going on here. The original message is overwritten and seems to be dated 1919, but the postmark is 1927 perhaps.
