Distribution: Philippines (42 PHI)
Homotypic Synonyms:
Pseudacoridium cootesii (H.A.Pedersen) Szlach. & Marg., Polish Bot. J. 46: 114 (2001).
This species is endemic to the mountains of the provinces of Ifugao, Nueva Ecija, and Nueva Vizcaya on Luzon at elevations of between 1,200 and 2,000 metres.
Dendrochilum sp. An undescribed terrestrial(!) species from the ultramafic tabletop of Mt. Hamiguitan, Davao Oriental Province, Mindanao, Philippines. This species is abundant on the tableland, where the waist-high blooms tower over the dwarf heath vegetation.

This is the real real Dendrochilum apoense unlike other incorrectly labelled plants on this site.
From Mindanao in the Phillipines and from Mount Apo, Nothing else is known about its habitat.
