The Demuth House, an 18th-century structure, now a museum gallery/garden, located at 120 East King Street, in Lancaster, Pa., in the heart of the city and one block east of Penn Square. It is open to the public and is free of charge. The Demuth Foundation restored it to the early 20th-century appearance, the time period when Demuth lived and painted there. The home is one of the oldest in Lancaster, having been built in the latter half of the 18th century and serving as a tavern in the Colonial period.
Bench coaches Brandon Hyde of the Cubs and Tony Pena of the Yankees exchange line-up cards. The plate umpire is Dana DeMuth.

A well designed and simple leaflet issued by London Transport in Autumn 1972 describing the services and stations on London Underground's relatively new Victoria line from Walthamstow to Brixton; the first phase had opened in 1968/69 with the Brixton section being completed in 1971. It gives details of fares (in the, again, relatively new decimal currency) as well as service intervals that show what a step change there has been in terms of delivery and train intervals in recent years.
The leaflet was designed in LT's own Publicity Office but is, unusually credited to a specific designer, Tim Demuth.

According to the Calhoun Times, this statute was erected in Calhoun in 1927 and donated by the Calhoun Women's Club. "The statue of Cherokee Indian Sequoyah that stands at Calhoun’s Arch park has several look-alikes scattered across the country. The statue was cast from a mold at the J.L. Mott Iron Works of Trenton, N.J. Its origin dates to about 1860, when a woodcarver created a generic Native American chief for William Demuth, who sold cigar store Indians. The statue is listed as 'No. 53 Indian Chief' in an 1872 Demuth catalog. A short time later, Mott purchased this design from Demuth. A cast of lookalikes Calhoun's Sequoyah statues have identical replicas all over the country." From the Calhoun Times.

While running errands this afternoon, as I drove through Demuth Park, I found the 3 Palm Springs Noodles next to the Senior Center. I stopped and took a few photos.
When Darek got home this evening we loaded the furbys into the car and took them to the Vet IQ in La Quinta for their canine influenza shots.
