Photography often is about contrasts, isn't it? Light contrast, aesthetic contrasts contrast of shapes, you name it. In this case I'm dealing with contrast of architectural style and period - and with the contrast between destruction and preservation.
This is demolition work on the previous site of the long gone Blumhardt works in Wuppertal / Germany. The company produced truck trailers and somehow managed to collapse financially despite of a boom in the trucking industry.
