Tijdens het 3-daagse Delicious Retreat September 2009 in Brummen met AcroYoga, Thaise Massage en yoga.
When I got back to the bus station in Kendal early this afternoon,I called at a little cafe called The Hole in the Wall and bought 2 brown buttered buns, about 8 inches in diameter, one with 3 thick slices of haggis, one with 3 thick slices of Bury black pudding, all freshly cooked.I satr at one of the tables and ate most of the black pudding one before my bus arrived. When the lady who runs the cafe saw the bus had come, she came out and put the haggis bun into a thick white bag which was lined with foil,so that by the time I took the last bite of it,it was still piping hot some 30 minutes after she had cooked it.How Benjy would have loved to share both of them !

The ubiquitous and delicious simit breads - although I admit that I preferred the Acma roll, which is like a fat, soft and slightly sweet bagel, though the hole in the middle is tiny.
Hippie Hippo consuming non-homecooked food for the first time since the middle of March! He has forgotten what deliciousness tasted like! Is he implying I have been feeding him blah this whole time?!

Yes, I ate this in The Philippines! Just after I told them that I could eat anything (that they would eat, too) they tested me .... and I passed the test!
The taste is in between duck and egg, try it!

Week 123: Seasons
Eliot's quote seems to sum up my feelings exactly! I love aspects of all four seasons but I do think the rich colors of Autumn are the best.
