If you've been following us for a while here or especially on tumblr, you'll know that we shoot in a lot of different formats, but like to save our very best for Flickr. This means there's a lot of medium format and Polaroids, with only the occasional 35mm film photo and even rarer, digital. It's tough trying to find a balance between what we post here while still keeping some coherence to our stream.
Sometimes though, we really love a photo, like this one, which may not necessarily fit in our usual 'style' - it's both digital and quite edited (we liked the shot but the colours didn't exactly fit), which we don't often post here but we couldn't help ourselves. Hopefully you like it too!

After a long 2.5ish years, I am now a college graduate. Woo Hoo! I have been talking about doing this forever, and now that I am finished with school I feel like in order to keep my creative juices flowing, I need to keep shooting creative things. I am finally starting my 52 weeks project.
52 weeks (1 year) worth of photographic artistry. One portrait or conceptual piece per week. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it is definitely going to be hard. I'm hoping this will push me as an artist and open up creative doors inside me that I don't yet know that I have.
Wish me luck! it will be a journey, that's for sure. :)

Also called Dogbane Tiger Moth, and there's a lot of dogbane in the La Crosse River Marsh where this photo was taken. Judging by the photo, looks like there's going to be a lot more Delicate Cycnia moths too!
