‘The Political Reporter’ is a new media installation by Boone, NC-based artist Mark Nystrom that generates random, but intriguing statements with words found on political websites and in the media. Sources include the Obama and Romney presidential campaigns, the Democratic and Republican parties, bloggers and the news media.
‘The Political Reporter’ animates a cloud of letters and periodically makes statements. These images are screen grabs taken while ‘The Political Reporter’ was running on Election Day and the day after.
Letters from words gathered from conservative sources are colored red and ones from liberal sources are blue. ‘The Political Reporter’s’ vocabulary includes over 70,000 words, but only 300 appear on the screen at any given time. As words are used to make statements, they are replaced by randomly chosen new ones from the list of 70,000.

Here we have a (t,x) graph for a moving object. Three important variables can be seen by examining this graph
1.) The period is the time it takes for the object to make a complete cycle of motion and return to any position. Two measurements of period are shown- it can be from any point on one cycle to the same point on the next cycle.
2.) Frequency is the inverse of period. Instead of cycles per second it's seconds per cycle. We call the term inverse seconds "Hertz," and it's important for many waves too. For example, with sound waves, the higher the frequency, the higher the note.
3.) Amplitude. This describes how far from the center point of motion an object gets in either direction.
Went hiking in Red Rock Canyon this morning and learned that the US Bureau of Land Management and I have different definitions of words like "trail" and "moderate" and "scrambling".
This is where the trail I was hiking (designated moderate level of difficulty) turned into rock "scrambling" (i.e. climbing).
I don't have many pictures of the "trail" after this point since i had to put the camera away while climbing through the rocks.
It was beautiful though. Much different than the forest hiking I've done in the midwest.
The definition of trapping me and my family. I feel scared and lost, unsure of what to do, until I am finally so back up against a wall that I have nowhere else to run. But there are some things that I can not hope to stand up and fight against, for I know I will lose the battle, even the war. So instead I can either look to the ground and hide, or look to the sky and have faith. Although, some days, I'm not sure which one I will do, though I know which should be best.

Mistletoes
By definition parasitic plants get nutrients, carbohydrates, ions and water from their host plants and they develop special morphological features to survive on the living tissue of other plants. The haustorium connects the parasite with its host and allows the transportation of water, inorganic and organic compounds into the parasite. Holoparasites are unable to produce chlorophyll for photosynthesis and are totally dependent on their hosts. A second group are the semi-parasites; their leaves produce chlorophyll and they are able to photosynthesise. Xylem-tapping mistletoes are common in the arid and semi-arid regions of Southern Africa. Furthermore, we investigated the development of leaf succulence induced by salinity in mistletoes

Mathematical induction definition In Mathematical induction we find whether a given statement is true for all the natural Numbers or not. So the answer to What is Mathematical Induction is that it is basically a technique used to prove a statement or a theorem, or a formula that is advanced about all natural numbers. As we know that in the Natural Numbers only positive numbers are included. This should not be construed as a form of inductive reasoning.
