I am on a business-trip in Switzerland this week, unfortunately without my camera. The weather is probably not perfect for great shootings, low clouds and thunderstorms are real spoil-sports. Anyway, I post an older shot from a recent visit, showing the Rhine Falls of Schaffhausen, Switzerland
I found these grapes from last autumn in my archives and gave them the dictionary treatment.

Another day with perfect Winter weather. Cold and sunny. The perfect day ends with a sunny hiking tour and a nice red wine at the fireplace. Hücker Moor, Spenge, Ostwestfalen, Germany
The Hücker Moor is a nice little lake in the Herford area (Northwest Germany). Peat was cut here more than a century ago and created this lovely landscape. Today the place is a great location for wildlife and worth a trip for the local folks in all seasons.

I took this a VERY VERY long way. I was in my Great Room window and they were at the bottom of the marsh and I am no judge of distance but it was definitely a long way using aperture priority.
Our lake was down for repair and is coming back in and is still really low. I have been taking duck feed, pond feed, and cracked corn directly down the hill from me where I can watch out my window. It has taken a few days, but I am starting to get results. I hope to keep it up and hope to see many kinds of ducks and water foul during spring migration. The blue heron are also coming in. By feeding fish pond food, I hope to draw in fish so they will linger here too which makes the heron and gull very happy. I have been seeing killdeer and gulls also.
Since definition was lacking at this distance, I used art filters to help bring out the detail.

The fourth in my series wherein I attempted to define the 'space' of a particular location, not necessarily trying to take a picture of any one subject or element.
Here a fenced off demolition site where I had to lean in through an opening in the fence.
So I went Spider Hunting last night and thankfully, despite the frequent thunderstorms as of late, a good few webs with occupants were still available. Albeit some were at incredibly awkward angles, this ferocious girl was tucking into its most recent capture as I came by, her fangs are quite visible which I was happy about, as so often I come across them and they're already masticating down on whatever they caught that day, so I end up with an interesting face but the fangs are occupied with a half devoured bug.

A couple of weeks ago the leaves were starting to pop but now as you can see they are bursting into full bloom....high definition.
