The proposed rule would redefine “snagging” or “snatch hooking” in relation to tarpon fishing by creating a definition in 68B-32.002, FAC, (Definitions) that is specific to tarpon. The rule language will build upon the current definition by adding language that would prohibit catching or attempting to catch a tarpon that has not been attracted or enticed by the angler’s gear. The proposed definition would apply to tarpon statewide.
Each participant wrote a word or phrase on a speech bubble that they felt should be considered in a definition of social inclusion.
The group then brainstormed examples of factors leading to social exclusion. e.g. age, gender etc.
These were then considered by the group and each group arrived at their own definition of social inclusion to work with for the day.

Found this note from one of my new office's previous occupants
while organizing stuff in file cabinets:

Stress
That confusion created when
one's mind overrides the body's
basic desire to choke the living
shit out of some asshole who
desperately needs it.

It is now taped to my wall.

I've been thinking today about definitions of style and how you define your own personal style. I have a really hard time doing this because my wardrobe contains pieces from all over the place. I know what kind of image I'm going for in my head, but I can never quite put a label or name to it. This becomes difficult when websites like Chictopia ask me to classify my style in terms of an era or label. My clothing is very rarely all from one era and I'm never really doing a theme. I usually end up putting "classic" "casual" or "vintage" if enough of my pieces are vintage. This is getting boring though! I'm not saying I want to be able to classify my style, I think it's not so necessary, however, it can be helpful for sites like Chictopia. What do you guys think? Do you have a hard time like me defining your personal style in terms of labels? Let me know in the comments!
outfit deets: shoes, belt - vintage // tights - h&m // skirt - thrifted // top - Le Chateau
Hot springs are sites where groundwater emerges at the Earth’s surface (or on the seafloor). Hot spring water has to be higher in temperature than the human body (an admittedly arbitrary definition): over 98° Fahrenheit or over 37° Celsius. Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. The highest concentration of geysers and hot springs anywhere is in Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin (northwestern Wyoming, USA).
Chinese Spring is a relatively small feature in the northern part of the Old Faithful Group, located 187 meters north-northwest of the # 1 most famous geyser on Earth - Old Faithful Geyser. It sits about 13 meters above the southern banks of the Firehole River - all of the hot water overflow drains into the river. Chinese Spring is a roughly equidimensional hot spring, about 1 to 1.5 meters across, with a somewhat raised rim composed of geyserite (siliceous sinter), a friable to solid chemical sedimentary rock composed of opal (hydrous silica, a.k.a. opaline silica: SiO2•nH2O). The geyserite formed by precipitation of hydrous silica from the issuing hot spring water. The silica is ultimately derived by superheated groundwater leaching of subsurface, late Cenozoic-aged rhyolites, a common volcanic rock at Yellowstone. The outer surface of Chinese Spring is mostly covered with nodulose geyserite. The spring's inner margin is overhanging and scalloped, with spinose to finely tuberculose geyserite.
Chinese Spring does have rare eruptions, and so is a true geyser. Its normal behavior is mild to somewhat vigorous boiling and occasional small bursts of water. Overflow exits the spring via a narrow channel on the northeastern side of its raised geyserite rim. Colorful extremophile microbial mats occupy the near-proximal and distal portions of its runoff channel.

Left - Dallmeyer - Rapid Rectilinear f7.5 used at f7.5.
This has a deeper apparent depth-of-field.
Right - Cooke Series III, f6.5, early 4.element, used at f7.5.
The depth-of-field looks much shallower than a rectilinear lens, the plain of focus is much more concise.

The Postcard
A postally unused postcard bearing no publisher's name, although the card is a glossy real photograph with a high-definition image.
There appears to be some doubt over whether the building in the photograph used to be the monks' Refectory or their Dormitory - some postcards describe it as a dining facility, others as a sleeping facility. Maybe it served as both - it is a large, tall building.
Battle Abbey
Battle Abbey is a partially ruined Benedictine abbey in Battle, East Sussex. The abbey was built on the site of the Battle of Hastings, and is dedicated to St. Martin of Tours.
The Grade I listed site is now operated by English Heritage, and includes the abbey buildings and ruins, a visitor centre with a film and exhibition about the battle, audio tours of the battlefield site, and the monks' gatehouse with recovered artefacts.
The visitor centre includes a children's discovery room and a café, and there is an outdoor themed playground.
In 1070, Pope Alexander II ordered the Normans to do penance for killing so many people during their conquest of England. In response, William the Conqueror vowed to build an abbey where the Battle of Hastings had taken place, with the high altar of its church on the supposed spot where King Harold fell in the battle on Saturday, 14 October 1066.
William started building it, but died before it was completed. Its church was finished in about 1094 and consecrated during the reign of his son William known as Rufus.
William I had ruled that the church of St Martin of Battle was to be exempted from all episcopal jurisdiction, putting it on the level of Canterbury. It was remodelled in the late 13th. century, but virtually destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1538 under King Henry VIII.
The abbey and much of its land was given by Henry VIII to his friend and Master of the Horse, Sir Anthony Browne, who demolished the church and parts of the cloister and turned the abbot's quarters into a country house.
It was sold in 1721 by Browne's descendant, Anthony Browne, 6th Earl of Montagu, to Sir Thomas Webster, MP and baronet. Sir Thomas had married the heiress Jane Cheek, granddaughter of a wealthy merchant, Henry Whistler, to whose vast inheritance she succeeded in 1719.
Webster was succeeded by his son, Sir Whistler Webster, 2nd Baronet, who died childless in 1779, being succeeded in the baronetcy by his brother. Battle Abbey remained in the Webster family until 1857, when it was sold to Lord Harry Vane, later Duke of Cleveland. On the death of the Duchess of Cleveland in 1901, the estate was bought back by Sir Augustus Webster, 7th baronet.
Sir Augustus (son of Sir Augustus, 7th baronet) was born in 1864 and succeeded his father as 8th baronet in 1886. In 1895, he married the only daughter of Henry Crossley of Aldborough Hall, Bedale. Sir Augustus was formerly a captain in the Coldstream Guards.
The descendants of Sir Augustus Webster, 8th baronet (died 1923) who brought the extinction, finally sold Battle Abbey to the British government in 1976 and it is now in the care of English Heritage.
It was an all-girls boarding school when Canadian troops were stationed there in the Second World War, and continues to this day as a successful school for both boys and girls.
All that is left of the abbey church itself today is its outline on the ground, but parts of some of the abbey's buildings are still standing: those built between the 13th and 16th century. These are still in use as the independent Battle Abbey School.
Visitors to the abbey usually are not allowed inside the school buildings, although during the school's summer holidays, access to the abbot's hall is often allowed.
The church's high altar reputedly stood on the spot where Harold died. This is now marked by a plaque on the ground, and nearby is a monument to Harold erected by the people of Normandy in 1903. The ruins of the abbey, with the adjacent battlefield, are a popular tourist attraction, with events such as the Battle of Hastings re-enactments.

The theme this week is ‘dreamy.’ I chose to go with definition B: pleasantly abstracted from immediate reality. I am still amazed and delighted every time I fire up a blu-ray disc. The picture and sound quality is just breathtaking. The audio has a fullness that you don’t get with standard CD mastering, and the quality of video is more akin to watching a moving photograph than a movie. Again, it’s the little things in life.. and for me, 1080p HD video is one of them.

Kyori models with a diorama piece I found on ebay Germany a few weeks ago, the high definition sofa :)
I really like how it is made, very detailed and true to the original design. It even comes with pillows and a carpet which is nice when you do not have a large fund of diorama pieces :)
And, I must mention how much I like this Kyori, especially when she wears pink ;) Se just photographs sooooo well!
The definition of Spam is: email that you have not asked to receive, and the definition of bacon is: the newsletters and store ads and everything that you receive from the different websites that you actually signed up for. I have noticed over the last few years that I'm not receiving as much spam as I use too. But I am receiving a ton of bacon with all those newsletters daily ads from retailers, deals of the day, groupons and other local and nationwide advertising bombarding you every day with emails. Just the amount of newsletters alone would take up my entire day. The store ads would drain my bank account.
