You find beauty in the smallest waterdrops

Today's Macro Mondays entry - topic:- Defining Beauty

👑👑

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749-1832) German poet, novelist, dramatist, author of "Faust," said:-

👑👑

"Beauty is a primeval phenomenon, which itself never makes its appearance, but the reflection of which is visible in a thousand different utterances of the creative mind, and is as various as nature herself."

👑👑

Herr Von Goethe may just have put his finger on the beauty button, the golden crown of this gorgeous, colourful flower, Rudbeckia 'Summerina Yellow.'

👑👑

This new perennial is a breeding breakthrough. These stunning Coneflowers are an unbelievable cross between an annual Rudbeckia and a perennial Echinacea. Loved by bees. 😊

The true beauty of music is that it connects people. It carries a message, and we, the musicians, are the messengers.

The inflorescence of Romanesco broccoli or Romanesque cauliflower for the Macro Mondays challenge "defining beauty". The quote I have chosen to accompany the photo is:

"The world is complex. That complexity is beautiful." - Ward Cunningham.

Each bud is composed of a series of smaller buds, each arranged in a logarithmic spiral. Mathematicians use the term fractal to describe a curve or geometrical figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole. In Romanesco broccoli, the pattern is only an approximate fractal since the pattern eventually terminates when the feature is sufficiently small. For more information see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanesco_broccoli

HMM! Happy new week!

I am very grateful for the kind comments and faves. Thanks for visiting.

I'm late with my photo today (late for me, not for the rest of you!). Since it's almost 1.00am here in the east of the great southern land, I must bid you goodnight and postpone my pleasure in looking at all your BEAUTIFUL MM photos until tomorrow (which is already today). HMM to you all!

Most people do not know how beautiful the world is and how much splendor reveals itself in the smallest things, in a flower, a stone, a tree bark or a birch leaf.

Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926), Austrian narrator and poet

Die meisten Menschen wissen gar nicht, wie schön die Welt ist und wieviel Pracht in den kleinsten Dingen, in einer Blume, einem Stein, einer Baumrinde oder einem Birkenblatt sich offenbart.

Beauty in things exists in the mind which contemplates them. (David Hume 1711-1776)

Die Schönheit der Dinge lebt in der Seele dessen, der sie betrachtet.

Beauty is line, beauty is shape, beauty is light an beauty is shade. Beauty is color. Beauty is solitude. Beauty is mystery.

Now sure about the name of this flower. They are tiny blooms and this one is less than 2". It is a bush plant and a lot of tiny flowers. I checked each one of them and found this one a little different. We find something beautiful in imperfect flower and can be interesting too if we really take a closer into it.

NOTE: Found the ID of this flower. (Plant)

It is called Coreopsis verticillata

I remember so well that sunny day at a Portuguese beach when my husband found the first of these two beautiful snail homes and gave it to me as a present. I wanted him to have one, too and started strolling up and down the water front - looking for another one that hadn't been broken by the waves. Can you imagine my heartbeat when I really spotted a second one, a little smaller than mine?! :) I will always remember that day by the sea when I look at these little treasures.

A wonderful theme this week. Have a beauty - full day, dear Flickr friends. HMM

A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear (that results) from the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl.

Stephan Hoeller

Thank you for your visit!! May your life's irritants be transformed to a thing of beauty!! :)

The one who understands finds both truth and beauty everywhere. Even in the simplest life experience he finds eternal symbols of truth and beauty: in a rain drop, in a butterfly wing, in a spider web, in every form of nature. / H. Hesse.

Being deaf one of the things that I have learned is to see the beauty of colour and that resounds and speaks more than any sounds or words will ever do... and colour and its complexity in feeling is such a beautiful thing!

One of my favourite sayings by Claude Monet :

"Color is my day-long obsession, joy, beauty and torment"

This is my very personal interpretation for this weeks theme. I nearly decided not to put it up. It was a great personal challenge to interpret and I wanted to get it right. It is something quite personal and emotive to me. Our lives are filled with color from the start and right to the end - I just think sometimes we forget to see and even hear the beauty of these colors life gives us every moment: joy, sadness, laughter, despair, exhilaration, love - Every color has beauty and individual meaning and emotion to each of us. Embrace the beauty of the color all around us #beauty #hmm #DefiningBeauty #macromonday

True beauty is invisible for our eyes.

For the only true Beauty is that of the Heart.
