This was one of my favorites as well!
As you know, with mirrorless cameras, getting flight shots is tough with a busy background. In the Z9 firmware update 4.0, they added a feature called Auto Capture. I tried it out yesterday. All you do is set up a tripod, enter some parameters for the shot you want, activate the program and walk away. The camera looks for any combination of settings and takes shots on its own. This one was set up for motion in a defined area of the frame. Lets say, it worked great.

Each bud is composed of a series of smaller buds, each arranged in a logarithmic spiral. Mathematicians use the term fractal to describe a curve or geometrical figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole. In Romanesco broccoli, the pattern is only an approximate fractal since the pattern eventually terminates when the feature is sufficiently small. The fledgling robin jumped from its nest for the first time and landed on our deck railing as seen in my recent post "Restrictions Lifted". The next stop was our window ledge where Maggie greeted him. The baby bird's Dad was below squawking at him to get down. I'm certain he was giving him his first life lesson - "stay away from cats!"

Die Mitarbeiter können neben ihren Büros auch „Meeting Points“ in den breiten Fluren nutzen, um sich auszutauschen und Besprechungen abzuhalten. Das Ziel: Eine offene Bürostruktur, die sich positiv auf die Arbeitszufriedenheit auswirken soll. Den Umzug werden die Mitarbeiter mit leichtem Möbel-Gepäck antreten. Weil es im Neubau auch neue – ergonomisch höhenverstellbare – Tische und Schränke gibt, wandern nur Bürosessel in die Umzugswagen. Tillmann Stenger nimmt ein einziges Stück mit: Einen Karl-Marx-Kopf, den er von seinem Vorgänger übernommen und ins Eck gestellt hatte. Jetzt darf der Kapitalismuskritiker mit übersiedeln."

The Point Loma Tide Pools are located at the tip of Point Loma, a steep rocky peninsula which defines San Diego Bay and separates it from the Pacific Ocean. The tide pools face west and on a clear day, you can see the Coronado Islands and sail boats.
The image you see is actually three separate images woven together using Photoshop cs5. Ones of a beautiful beach near my old home, the other my new home, the city (the other is the star trail). The image portrays two different worlds and two different homes to me.

These little brown jobs have almost no defining features other than the song. Very rare to see them, always deep in cover. So pleased to get this much of him.
Defined as one of the best artistic productions of 13th century Catalan architecture and, by extension, of European medieval architecture, the Seu Vella is a singular cathedral that leaves no one indifferent. Its architecture shares the limelight with high quality carvings that are preserved in capitals, cornices, corbels, portals, etc. The substantial remains of preserved mural paintings or the chapels built by prominent families or distinguished church members are a reflection of a prestigious building with a splendid past.
I have often wondered if anyone reads the context to the photos posted on Flickr.
I have definitely had defining moments in my life that has made me who I am, those moments that make you glad to be alive, doing something and looking back without any regrets. This song for me is about wanting to be loved, it's about wanting time to never end, loving someone and being loved back.
It's about trust, companionship and closeness, and reaching out to those around you, and how that can just make you feel like you “just don't care” — “the thunder before the lightning” represents the seconds of doubt/worry before a defining moment and just having the guts to do it — “there you are sitting in my garden, clutching my coffee, calling me sugar” for me, represents that after taking the risk to reach out to someone, they may reach out to you too, and become part of your life, like you had never been apart, and now they are casually sitting in your garden sharing your coffee. This song makes you think twice about everyone around you and how much they mean to you in the past and present.

So....is "more interesting" a good thing? I could say that this has been an interesting week, but not an exceptionally good week. There are not enough hours in a day lately, and not enough fun in the hours, and there have been too many disappointments and a lack of motivation ....
Well, a new week begins tomorrow...and maybe it will be "more interesting." And I can only hope that that will be a good thing!
